Hopefully soon, he'll be six feet under me instead. The manic thought used to resonate throughout my empty mind, constantly, like the way I move around this empty apartment. Unfortunately, these cravings slowly lost their appeal four years ago, just like Seth's feelings for me. Lifting my legs up in the air, I hoist myself upright on my bed. My shift starts in forty-five minutes. After all, a girl's somehow got to get the money to pay for her clothes. Time passes quickly. I'm used to it.
