¬Anne Pov.

"Uh.. Also.. Um..." She stuttered much. She stopped holding my hand. "Also?" I asked. "Well about that..." She looked really flustered. My face got all red. "Also... That means?" I asked again. "No. It isn't like that.." She said. She lied to herself. "Marcy.. I don't think the curse makes mistakes" "Well, maybe it does!" Her voice went higher. She looked annoyed. I tried to hold her hands again but failed, she pushed them away. "Mar-" She just laid herself on the floor and took the blanket. "Hey.. Are.. You really sure about that?" I asked twice. "Yea. It isn't like that. The curse makes a mistake." I wanted to say something but I couldn't. I just laid down next to her. "Well then.. Goodnight Mars" I said and took the other blanket. She only mumbled something. Well, that didn't go well. Why won't she say the truth? Is she so embaressed to be in love with one of her best friends? She's lying to herself for what? For the curse to take over or what? I fell asleep like at 2am, overthinking everything what happened.

¬6am

I woke up. Seeing Marcy infront of her phone staring on a black screen. "Good morning" I said and sat next to her. "Hi." She said. She sounded kind of.. heartless? "Are you okay?" "Yeah." "Sure?" "Yeah." She used the black screen as a mirror. "Hey, the leaves are getting more" I said and took a leaf out of her hair. She took one too and looked at it. "Looks like it.." She said. She'd put her phone away. "Hey.. What if we just take the leaves and blossoms out of my hair? Would they grow back or something?" She asked and took another leaf out. "We can try haha" I chuckled and agreed. We started to take the blossoms and leaves out of her hair. "Can we forget what happened last evening?" She asked me, her hair free from the blossoms and leaves. "Uhm.. We can.. I guess.." I said, a bit shocked of the question but still calm.
"So that you know, I'm not in love with you, I see you as a friend. AND ONLY AS A FRIEND. Alright?" She said with serious tone. "Alright. Well then the curse effects even on friendship?" "Yes, cause we're humans it affects us other." "Oh.. Okay.." I said with a blossom in my hand. Somehow the blossoms and leaves grew again, and well even one in her eye. "Anne..." She mumbled with pain in her voice and put her hand on her cheek, her hand was bloody. I didn't find words for that. I glanced surprised at her, in a bad way. The curse now got worse. "Marcy.. It's going to be okay alright? Just wait here.. I'll- get something!" I was in panic, blood went down her cheek. The horns got bigger, even on her skin grew some blossoms and leaves. I ran up the stairs to get bandages. "EMERGENCY!!" I screamed and ran just 2 inches next from hoppops left side. "Anne? What happened?" "Marcy." I only said her name and took the bandages, running into the basement again. Sprig followed me. "Anne? Is everything okay?" He sat next to me now. Polly went the stairs down too and sat next to us. I've put the bandages on Marcys eye and swept the blood from her cheek. "It'll be alright, marcy. I promise.." Sprig and Polly looked curious to Marcy and saw how I bandaged her eye. The bandage got really fast full of blood. I sighed exhausted. "Sprig, Polly get out of here.. It's going to be.. Not for kids I guess?" They just nodded and went the stairs up.
