I wake up and look at the clock to see 9:00am...wow a full four hours sleep...great. I was tired but I couldn't go back to sleep. I pick up my phone and text the group chat.

A smile grew big on my face, I loved surfing especially with my friends. I quickly packed my bag and got changed. As I walked out to the living room I seen my dad asleep in the couch with a glass in his hand. I walked over to the counter and picked up the whiskey bottle and filled his glass to the brim. I put the bottle back and lay $60 beside it. I walked out and slammed the door shut as I looked through the window and smiled. My plan worked. As I slammed the door he woke up and spilled the drink all over himself. I smiled then grabbed my surfboard and quickly tied it to the roof and drive to kiaras to pick her up.
I pulled up outside and walked to the door to knock but before I could her dad walked out.

Mike-I'm good, kiara told us about the place closing down and that you were looking for work. I'm really sorry but we are fully staffed at the minute but if there are any shifts that come up u can have them

He smiles as kiara walks out infront of him. We wave as we walk back to my car. Kiara ties her surfboard up beside mine and gets in beside me.
Kie-so how was work last night
Y/n-ye it was good I made enough to keep my dad happy for a while so I will be able to chill with u guys tonight
