Something About a Strong Mother

She protected as she could,

Nobody knew she would.

As no one heard her call.

When she burnt on that wall.

Yet she sang every night,

To keep away children's frights.

She grew up as they knew,

Her life going askew,

Yet she married to the best.

No more monster fests.

She made a deal,

Not broken with her seal.

To save her dear loved boy,

Not suspecting he'd make him his toy.

She woke up to a sound of tears,

Not knowing it would be the last of the years.

She walked into the room,

Barely lit by the moon.

To find a man she mistook,

From her husbands beautiful look.

The lights flickered as she went downstairs,

Her fingers running threw her hair.

She found the one she loved so true,

She almost jumped out of her shoes.

Upstairs she ran to save her child,

When she found the man he smiled.

It didn't take long at all.

Until she was pinned up on that wall.

Her husband ran in to the child's cries,

He couldn't believe his eyes.

He reached out to touch her one last time,

That just kicked in the Demons chime.

He burst her into flames,

Not done with his brutal games.

But she heard one last phrase,

Before she left mortal gaze.

At the very end of his show,

"Take your brother outside as fast as you can! Go! Dean! Go!"

But before I leave with my final gesture,

Her name was Mary Winchester.
