I work in a pub, well.. it was supposed to be a restaurant, but the menu has deterioated. the reason why i call it a pub is simple, people only come for the high selection of alchohol and our minibar. vodka liquour wisky cocktails and beer, we have all of that. i work as a bartender, serving drinks to people upfront, i dont have alot of coworkers, being a small pubish thing in the middle of nowhere. none of the existing employees actually come to work. it is usually just me mainly being a bartender, and then doing a little bit of everyone elses job. 1 job i dont have to do is serving people that are actually eating. beacuse there is another worker that comes every work day, his name is karl.

karl is a waiter, and he is exellent at acomodating people, making them feel welcome. he has dirty blond hair, that goes down to the middle of his back, he wears a bright yellow bandana with earings. and i must say, he is not an ugly man. quite the oppisate, hes pretty,handsome and he carries himself well. hed talk to me from time to time. allways looking at my eyes with his deep dark ones while he did so, smirking slightly. im not sure why, but it would make me feel some type of way. there was tension beetween us. or maybe it was just me, but i did wonder if he felt that tension too.

i sat at the minibar, bored. no one had came in the last hour, and i was really started to get tired too.

i sprung up to the feeling of somone tapping my shoulder, i swiftly turned my head to see who it was, it was karl, of course.

"hey y/n!" he said in his usual upbeat tone"

"hey karl.." i mumbled,in a tired and bored tone.

"whats wrong y/n? everything allright?" he said concerned, looking down on me. i let a few seconds go by before responding, "im.. really tired, karl." i said looking down at my thumbs. a few seconds of silence went by with silence. "well, how about this then-" karl said in a deeper voice, shooting a decivingly seductive look as he sat next to me "the pub is closing in a bit. lets take a break allright? lets go outside, ill bring some beers.." he said calmly, i felt my face warm up by his proposal, he leaned his head on his fist awaiting my responce, which of course i agreed to. karl stood up taking my hand to help me up aswell. we walked out of the pub, sitting on the curb. karl running in and out of the pub, now with beers. he sad beside me.

"so, anything interesting happend around town?" he inquired. i thought a bit, "lisa gave birth to her child" karl srung up "really? congrats to her! whats the kids name?" "its cecilia, its a pretty name.." i responded, "yours is still prettier y/n." he said calmly while looking up at the stars. i flared up, becoming bright pink! Why did he allways had to be so charming?! i snapped back to look at him with my hand over my mouth. he turned to look at me too "aha! you look so flustered!" he giggled, mocking me almost "oh shut up karl.." he giggled some more at my pathetic attempt of a response. "i like the way you say my name too y/n" now that was the real kicker, forget about being pink, im red. my eyes shot him a look just to see him looking right at me, his head resting on his arm and knees, his cheeks heated up. "you mean it? Kaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrllllll??!" i said in a mocking way, making myself laugh. yet instead of karl laughing, his cheeks flared up more, and he tensed up. putting his blouse over his hips. "i- i do mean it." karl slightly stuttered,

i was fasinated with his reaction, finding myself staring at him. "uhm- i have an idea- what if we ask eachother random questions? and you have to tell the absuloute truth." he proposed "sure! ill start!! hmm whats your fav color?" karl laughed at my childish question. "its yellow and blue, those are my favs." "allright! your turn!" he looked up again to the sky thinking, exposing his sexy jaw.
