"See here is a fruit native around our kingdom!" she jumped and grabbed a fruit with a spike on top and what looked to be a ring around it, she cracked it open and a sweet strawberry banana milkshake smell expelled from it. The boy was confused although he was slowly figuring out where the chains had brought him. Although he missed home, he still thought the new dimension (it seemed like) was beautiful. As they traveled apple kept talking and talking. The boy looked at the forest and scenery around them and noticed there was a movement in the bushes. "..? What is that?" the boy went to check and found a little hound. "AWWHHH!" the boy howled and the hound twisted its head. "DONT-!" the hound lounged and the boy tripped back, trying to get the hound off of him. Once he got him off the wolf-like figure bared his teeth and growled, getting ready to lounge again. "DONT ATTACK!"Apple yelped, as the boy kept struggling to not be attacked."HE DID FIRST!" The boy countered, pushing the wolf to the ground as it made a yelp. Suddenly there were bigg footsteps and the pup ran toward it. "Oh no.." Apple stared off into the area where the stomps where echoeing from."what?" He looked over to see a large shadowy figure in the same shape of the hound but bigger. The boy figured out that the mother had came to attack and it wasnt alone as three other hounds followed behind her. Apple started running but fear paralyzed him to the core. As soon as he was about to run the hound got ready to pounce, as he ran the hound almost got him but missed by an inch, the boy running as fast as he could to figure out he was faster than usual, Way faster. He ran, avoiding trees. The hounds somehow caught up as geode caught up with the girl, being significantly slower. The girl squeeled and tried to run faster but failed, almost being caught but geode caught her and carried her bridal style, he had no time to change the position as he tried to run faster.
The boy found a spot to hide so he looked up to see if there was a way avoid them to go to the hiding place as the hounds werent too far back. He saw a branch and grabbed on, climbing ontop and watching the hounds run by. He went to the hiding place and placed the girl down, just now realizing how he was holding her."I am so sorry. I was judt trying to save you so I-" the boy was cut off "No. Its fine" it went silent for a minute. Then they sat down in the little cave they were in, keeping an eye out to see if the hounds would come back."do you have a home? Or..?" Geode broke the silence. "Yes! But i dont think its safe to go out yet, they will be after us all night" ami responded. "Oh so we have to stay here for tonight?" The boy questioned, looking out the cave, which was turning darker by the second. "I am afraid so." The girl responded, leaning back on the cave wall. "Hmm." The booy looked outside and stood up, staying nearby he grabbed some dry sticks and made a fire by rubbing one on another. The girl watched curiosly as he did so. He grabbed more sticks and placed them in, making a somewhat big fire, not taller then the the girl or the boy. "Woah. I can barely use a fire gauntlet with my power! How did you make it so fast without a gauntlet?" The girl said, clearly mesmerised. "Gauntlet? Power?" "Were you born yesterday?" "..well where im from we dont have powers? And gauntlets dont produce fire." He said, sitting next to her. "You dont have a power?- if they dont spit fire, you probably have another power gauntlet- like water, earth, wind, regeneration? There is a bunch but gauntlets are used for people who dont have that power! Actually the elements have different names- fire is pyro, water is aqua, wind is anemo- or air, it has a few different names, and earth is a few different names, usually reffered as rock or terra." The girl explained. "Thats alot to take in-?" The boy mumbled, writing what she said in his notebook. She giggled and nodded, watching him write. They boys writing was nice enough to read, it wasnt sloppy, nor neat. They looked out the cave once more as the fire started to die out, it was quite enough to hear one another breathing. The girl took off her jacket and made a pillow out of it, laying her head down and watching the fire burn out with a yawn. On the other hand geode was still writing and looking out the cave. Once the girl was asleep the boy looked up to a tall figure staring, he was roughed up, and had a futuristic robotic arm. He stared down at the boy "human."
