Once exer went to the back, ron left. "ron wait! why are you leaving?!" i said loudly, trying not to let exer hear. "you need time alone with him. confess!" he said as he exided the building. "ro-" he was gone. and just when he left, the coffees were ready "okayyy- their ready! wait wheres ron.." exer cutel- wait. no. exer skated over to the table. ignore what i said before. "he..left. look ex, we need to talk." i said with a pink flush on my face. "O-OH FUCK! did ron tell you?! i swear il beat his a-" "no, he didnt tell me anything, but he was acting very shady.." i said narrowing my eyes. "but nevermind that, i need to tell you something." my face grew red. when exer noticed, his did too. he sat down. "yeah?" i picked up my stuff. "not here." "oh. MARCOOO CAN I LEAVE?" "YOUR SHIFTS NOT OVER!" marco yelled back. "yeah but, theirs like nobody here." "I AM!" pamlema shouted. no offense, kinda forgot she was there. exers pov ‼️

once we were on a log, near the pond, i started. "david, i need to tell you something too. a-and its really important.." my face turned red, as i fiddled with my hands. "okay, fine, tell me ex."
"uhm.." i gulped. i wasnt expecting that response. "im sorry if we arent friends after this. i get it if your weirded out because of me." "wait.. i think we might be thinking the same thing." david said looking at me with his ocean eyes. "what do you mean..?" "i mean we might have the same secret.." he put his hands close to mine, then pulled my hand into his. his hands were so warm, like a cozy blanket. "i..like you, exer campbell." my eyes widened. a small smile formed on my face. i was..happy. exided. but at the same time..relieved. i felt my eyes start to water. "i love you, david miller." our faces were so close. we were practically kissing. david leaned in, and our lips touched. his kiss was magical. it felt comforting, brendas' kiss was nice, but nothing like davids kiss. we were at peace.
