Sinbad was sitting next to (Y/n), her eyes slowly opening. "God I need Alcohol." Sinbad mused at the girl, "Is that so?" She turned her head, "I've seen you more in the last few days than I have my own reflection." She laughed raspily looking around, "Why am I still here?" Sinbad looked at the girl, "You were infected, I couldn't just let you die." She rolled her eyes, "I mean after you helped me. Why are you still wasting your time with me?" Sinbad eyed her, "I don't see it as wasting our time." She stared at him, "You really think you can help me?" Sinbad nodded, "At least try." She smiled, "You're lucky you're easy on the eyes. I don't mind seeing you at my bedside." Sinbad smirked, "Ah, so you do find me attractive." She laughed with a cough to follow. "Just maybe." Sinbad's smile faded, "Will you tell me more about this journal?" (Y/n)'s eyes fell, "Well, not much to tell. I was captured, dissected, and tortured for a man's selfish intentions. He kept a journal of everything he did... I didn't get to read it or anything." Sinbad grabbed her hand, "How long did he have you." (Y/n) closed her eyes as she breathed, "15 Years." Sinbad's eyes widened, "You were there that long?!" She sighed, "Seemed longer honestly." She looked over at Sinbad, "You still going to arrest me?" Sinbad laughed as he still held her hand, carefully stroking it. Flipping it over to see the Slave mark, (Y/n) looked down at him and followed his eyesight, "Oh, that old thing?" Sinbad looked at her with his Ember eyes, "Were you a slave?" She sighed, "I was once upon a time. I was born into it, my mother died in childbirth and my Father was the slave owner. Wasn't a happy union that conceived me." Sinbad nodded, "I'm sorry to hear that... I was a slave once when I was younger. That's how I met Masrur." (Y/n) closed her eyes and thought, "Oh, the Red Lion. Yes, I remember seeing him earlier." Sinbad studied her mark as he responded, "Red Lion? I've never heard them be called that before." (Y/n) looked over at him, "Yes, I guess I'm still stuck in the old terminology... what they were before." Sinbad stroked her arm again. "Do you remember much about your home?" (Y/n) sighed, "Sometimes if I really focus, I can be there again. That is a rare occurrence, most of the time the only thing I remember is the war. The rebellion against Sol and us." She used her other hand and grabbed her head. "War is such a nasty thing. Nothing good comes from it." Sinbad sighed, "You should rest still." (Y/n) looked at him, her eyes shining brightly, "Why are you being so kind?" Sinbad looked deep into her eyes, "Is kindness so hard to accept?" She looked him with a pain that leaked through her iris. "Kindness is often only a way to capture someone in your grips. People always have an ulterior motive. Even those you think are close friends." Sinbad leaned down putting his hand on her forehead, "While this may seem true, I promise, it's not true for everyone." He knitted his eyebrows, "You have a fever. I'll call Yamriaha in." She grabbed his hand gently as he removed it from her head. "You know, I believe you. Despite you being half fallen, you're the one who I can see is truly honest what you've said to me." Sinbad was about to speak when Aladdin knocked, "I wanted to check on Ms. (Y/n). How are you feeling?" (Y/n) looked at him unable to speak, "She's got a slight fever, but is conscious." Sinbad said as (Y/n) slowly nodded. "Yes, I'm alright. I apologize for staring, you just remind me so much of Sol." Aladdin walked in the room, "What do you mean by that exactly?" (Y/n) smiled to herself, "Your aura, it's just like his. Strong and unwavering. It's very familial." She slowly sat up as Sinbad rushed to hold pillows so she lean against them. Aladdin nodded, "Familial?" (Y/n) coughed, "May I have a glass of water?" Sinbad nodded as he went to the side table and got a glass of water for her. She carefully sipped and gave the cup back to Sinbad. "I think I'm going to rest a bit more." Sinbad and Aladdin nodded, "We'll leave you be." Sinbad and Aladdin left the room, shutting the door behind them. "Let's get Yamriaha, I want her to check on (Y/n)'s Fever." Sinbad said as he started walking, Aladdin following close behind. "Did she say much more about Alma Torran? Or Solomon?" Sinbad shook his head, "Nothing really more. She was there before the war and watched as the war broke out. She was born a slave and later became one again when she was kidnapped and tortured by the men in our jail cell." Aladdin crinkled his eyebrows as they continued to walk. "I think we should question them." Sinbad smiled, "Ja'far is already taking care of that. We shall have more information soon." Aladdin looked back at the door. "I hope we can help Ms. (Y/n)."

After a few moments of Aladdin and Sinbad leaving the room (Y/n) gently got up and sat at the edge of the bed. She put her hand to head, "I do have a fever." She got up and walked to the bathroom that was set up to the right of the room through a wooden door. She walked in and saw the extravagant design and colors that decorated the room. She looked to the tub and eyed the facet, "Is that real gold?" She knocked on it and shrugged, "Huh." She flipped the nob to allow flow of water to enter the golden tub. She felt the cold water run against her warm skin on her hand. "Perfect." She turned and looked at the mirror and sighed as she eyed the markings running through her neck. She stripped and examined her body to see if the serum spread any further. Luckily it was now only confined to her neck and partial chest. The only thing that was left was scars scattering her body. The fresh wounds on her chest were starting to scab over. She ran her hand over the scars that were on her back, they were calloused over many were faint while others were discolored from the how many times her wounds were reinjured. "I got a little bit of everything on my body now." She looked down at the counter top and noticed a couple of bottles. She grabbed each one and smelt each one to see what was in it. They all smelt very nice, although, she couldn't put a name to the smell. She grabbed the bottle with the thicker consistency and deemed it as bubble bath. She tossed the bottle in her hands until she reached the bath tub where she opened it up and dumped a little bit into the flowing water creating a bubble bath for herself. She smiled and started to mix it around with her hand as she hummed a song that she had known her whole life. She felt her head again, it was feeling just as inflammed. She slipped into the ice cold bath and dunked her head under. She could feel the cool invade her heightened temperature. The cold felt like knives slowly invading her body. She stayed under holding her breath until everything went numb. She squeezed her eyes as he face contorted into sadness. All the tears she cried under the water merged with the cool water. Her body heaved as she continued to stay under water crying. She burst through the water running her hands through her hair. She gasped for breath, as her head pounded from the time she was under water. She whimpered, trying to not let herself cry. She brought her knees up to her chest as she easied her breathes. "I'm so tired. I'm out of place and time. And I can never go back home."
