Introduction

It is the beginning of a new year, A Relocation to A new Town.It was a Random day when Mr Lewis decided to kick us out. We live in a patriarchal society , So whatever man say is considered to be the final saying. He claimed that the economy has taken a downswing therefore he needs more money to survive and in order to get money he needed new tenants , but I know that he is lying to us there is a reason behind his sudden change of heart . In all honesty I understand his reason because a woman like me is considered to be a disgrace to the society but couldn't he feel pity for us, my mom is a single mother how can she afford taking care of me ? And to answer this question of course he did not feel pity for kicking us out .No one wants a homosexual person in their space I mean Phillip my own father disowned us , so who is he ? Because he is also one of those homophobic misogynistic men.

My name is Rosalia. I am eighteen years old . I am a homosexual who is proud of being a homo .I love girls ,Their smell ,voice ,kindness the list is endless women make me happy .It has been two weeks after I disclosed my sexuality to my mother and father.My mom accepted me and claimed that she had known about my sexuality for years and that she is happy that I finally got out of the closet .It was a different story for my father though Immediatley after I told him the news he abandoned me and my mother because she had promised to stay by my side.After being abandoned by my father Phillip We went to live at Mississippi Street where Mr Lewis was kind enough to allow us to rent his back room.Mr Lewis found out about my Sexuality today , I think that is his reason for kicking is out.

I glanced at the bus Mama Rose was Refering to, people were pushing each other to get a sit in the bus by the looks of it,The bus is over Crowded.

My journey starts now, right here at the bus stop from Mississippi to Texas , at least I will get to see my favorite grand mother .
