(2) Sonic to the rescue

Amy P.O.V

I watched the cute blue hedge hog sit down with the big, red, and burly guy and the silver hedge hog. Stop being a stalker! I yelled at myself. But he's soooo cute. Another part of me whined. Suddenly a angry face was all I could see. It was a girl hedge hog. She was dark blue with black tipped quills. Her flame blue eyes burned into my jade ones.

"WHAT are you doing, looking at my man like that?" She growled. HER MAN?!! I thought frantically.

"What? You thought Sonic WOULDNT be taken already? Well guess what? He is MINE so BACK OFF!" She pushed me back roughly. I looked, EVERYONE was staring at me and the other girl. I glared at the girl then sashayed out of the lunch room, tears threatening to fall. I suddenly ran into someone.

"Hey watch it!" A grey, boy fox snarled at me.

"Hey shut it! YOU ran into ME!" I snapped. He suddenly shoved me into the locker.

"What did you say?" He snarled. His breath smelled like fish.

"You heard me fish-breath." I hissed. He grabbed my throat. I squeaked and kicked him in the shin, causing him to squeeze tighter. Suddenly a blue blur tackled the grey fox. They both got up.

"Sonic? Why did you attack me?" The fox asked. His names Sonic? Hot name. I thought dreamily. Cut it out! I yelled at myself.

"Sorry Shade, but you were attacking her." Sonic said gruffly. Shade walked off growling.

"Are you ok? He didn't hurt you to bad, did he?" Sonic said softly. I looked away, rubbing my sore throat. Tears fighting to be freed. Sonic lightly put his hand on my face, making me face him. OMG! OMG! HES TOUCHING Me! Butterflies fluttered in my stomach. I felt like bolting, but my feet were frozen. I also kinda hoped he would kiss me, but I knew he wouldn't. Wait! Were did THAT little fantasy come from?!

"Do you want me to take you to the nurse's office?" He asked.

"O-okay." I stammered as his hand dropped off my face. I followed him to the nurse, my heart going a mile a minute.

Sonic P.O.V

I was so angry with Shade for trying to strangle Amy. I looked at her neck again. It was beginning to bruise. I growled, I definitely was going to have a talk with Shade after school. I shoved the nurse's door open.

"Hey! Do you have any man-" The nurse stopped at the sight of Amy's black and blue neck.

"Oh dear, here have some ice." The nurse gave Amy an ice pack.

"What HAPPENED?!" She asked me. I looked back at Amy.

"Shade tried to strangle her. Luckily I beat what sense he had left out of him." Why do I feel so protective of Amy? I've only known her for, wow, not even a day. I realized.

"Amy, what class do you have next?" The nurse asked.

"Um, English." She whispered.

"I have that next too." I said.

"Ok Sonic, go to class and tell you teacher Amy here will be a little late. Ok?" I nodded to the school nurse, and reluctantly left for class.

Hmmm should Shade be a bad guy???????????? That would be interesting,
