Chapter 5

(Narrator POV)

Phobos: Goddess, I will buy you some time. You should escape.

Hestia: What are you saying, Phobos?! Open this door, right now!

Phobos turns around and starts walking away slowly.

Phobos: Goddess... I don't want to lose the closest person I see as family.

He runs off

Hestia: Phobos! PHOBOS!

(Meanwhile in the colosseum)

Ganesha: A monster escaped? How?! What happened to the guards?

Guard 1: They appear to all have been charmed.

Guard 2: We suspect it was done by some intruder.

Ganesha: Let's worry about the intruder later! How many monsters escaped?

Guard 1: Nine total.

Guard 2: The slayers of the familia are already on their way.

Ganesha sits up from his throne.

Ganesha: We alone can not handle it fast enough. Cooperate with the other familia! Ask the gods present here for their assistance!

Guard 1: Wait, sir! It was our own weakness that allowed the monsters to escape.

Guard 2: If we asked for help from others, the Genesha name would be taint-

Ganesha: I am the lord of the crowds, Genesha. We find joy in the smiles of children. Rank and pride matter not! The safety of the people is our top priority!

Guard 1 and 2: As you say, sir!

Ganesha: To prevent panic, the festival must continue. Do not make too much of a ruckus! Go now!

Guard 1 and 2: Yes! 

The guard run off. Ganesha looks back at the colosseum.

Ganesha: What is their intent?

We see the mysterious on top of a roof and smiling.

 Ganesha: Distraction or panic. That or...

(Back with Phobos)

The monster swings it's chains at Phobos, he dodges it and grabs the chain, then he swinged the monster into the fountain causing the fountain to shatter into pieces. The giant monster slowly gets up and looks at Phobos.

Phobos: You know, swinging chained weapons is my thing. 

The monster roars and charges at Phobos.

(With Hestia)

She falls to the ground and yelps. She sits up and turns the bag to her. She opens the bag and looks in it.

(Flashback)

Hephaestus: Now listen closely, Hestia.

We see Hephaestus and Hestia in Hephaestus's workshop.

Hephaestus: That ring has the stats you engraved on it wit the hieroglyphs. That weapon is alive.

Hestia: It's alive?

Hephaestus: It will awaken when your child, Phobos, takes it in his hands, and they will grow together.  

(Flashback end)

Hestia gets up and starts running for Phobos

Hestia: (Phobos)

(Meanwhile)

We can see Eina talking to a little boy.

Boy: Thank you!
