Chapter 14 : New Friends?

Zack and Evie were listening to the priest say things about Isabelle, but they had noticed that there were two new faces at the coffin, slowly having tears unravel from their eyes. One had identical chocolate brown hair, but he had brown eyes and she had blue eyes. They walked over to the two new people at the coffin. "Hey, I'm Zack, and this is Evie. We noticed you two, and we've never seen you guys before, except for in a picture that Isabelle had shown us on her phone... What's your names?" The guy looked over and nudged the girl standing next to him, to his right, he spoke in soft young adult voice, "I'm Cameron Faro, and this is Caitlin Augustine, she's my girlfriend." Caitlin looked over at Zack and Evie, with tears rushing down from her eyes. Zack spoke, "Nice to meet you Cameron and Caitlin. So... I know that the guy who did this to Isabelle is dead because I killed him by my own hand. He was my uncle. A crazy uncle... He threw a meat clever clean into her forehead. So I killed him painfully, then stuffed him into my trashcan." Cameron and Caitlin looked at Zack with a sort of cool look. Cameron spoke, "Damn, so your uncle did this, and is now dead? Hm..." Cameron walked over to the coffin, and grinned. Suddenly you could hear thumping inside of the coffin, then Isabelle emerged from the coffin.

"Y'know, it's very hard to breathe in these!" She climbed out of where she was to be buried, and saw Cameron and ran up to him and gave him a friendly hug. "Cameron! It's been so long my friend!" Cameron had a smile on his face, "Yes it has been!" Zack, Evie, and Caitlin were all confused, and said in unison, "You guys are friends?" Isabelle and Cameron looked at the triplet, "Are you kidding? He saved me from Scar!" Zack and Evie looked at each other, puzzled, "Who is Scar?" Isabelle started explaining, "Scar is one of the two guys who put a shot into Cam, Caitlin, and I! We had this thing we called The Lucid Dream! We had abilities beyond our imagination!" They all continued talking while they walked out to their cars, Zack spoke out, "Hey Cameron, Caitlin, follow me to my house and we can talk some more." They nodded their heads and got their cars.

Once everyone had met up at Zack's house they sat in the living room and chatted some more. "So Cameron, you saved Isabelle from this Scar? And had abilities beyond imagination?" Cameron nodded his head, and stood up. "I basically just have to imagine anything and it happens." Cameron chuckled, put out his hand, and slowly, a compressed ball of energy formed in it. Zack was in awe, wondering if he could do that. "That's not all, either." He jumped up, and he wasn't falling! He made himself not be affected by gravity. Cameron imagined the energy ball going away, and it did. Cameron floated back down to the ground. Zack stood and directed Cameron to the backyard.

"Let me show you my power and strength Cam. Just stand back." Cam stepped back, Sitting down and waiting. Zack flexed out his right arm, in the middle of it formed an unstable chaotic red sphere, that had spike forming and deforming from it's body. He took the orb and shoved it down his own throat, swallowing it slowly. Zack's veins glowed red and his skin turned completely black, gaining ghoulish eyes, and on his arms glowed red marks all over his right arm. This form was unstable and was only held for a few minutes. After the form wore out, zack slowly started to form a small supernova in his hand, letting the heat rub up against his skin, the skin not melting off like a marshmallow when making smores. Zack closed his palm and the supernova was gone. Cameron was just sitting there, "Wow... that was something, I mean it didn't really amaze me or anything, just... Wow." He slowly clapped out of sarcasm. Zack grinned, "We'll have to fight one day Cameron, just to see who is truly stronger." Zack removed his shirt and wiped his body with it, removing the sweat, as the supernova and the unstable form had caused him to sweat uncontrollably. They both walked inside.

Zack sat down next to Evie, giving her a nice passionate kiss on the cheek. Cameron sat in a single person chair, looking over at Caitlin. Isabelle got up and looked at the two pairs of couples and left the room, feeling left out. Zack watched her as she left the room. He sighed and soon shortly after, followed her. "Isabelle how come you can't stay around and socialize with us?" He sat next to her on a chair in the room, as she sat on her bed. "I just feel left out because you guys both have girlfriends, and I'm here, being single..." Zack looked at her with a saddened expression. "Believe me, I truly do feel sad for you, knowing that you don't have a guy in your life." Zack got up and walked over and hugged her tightly. He started to walk back downstairs. Joining the others. Zack walked over to Evie, "I have a bad feeling..."
