Vampiric Love ~ A story by Sunny-and-Cuddly and Axlekoonce

Chapter 1: The peashooter and the Vampire

Billions of years ago, before light even existed, the lord of darkness, Dharkon, ruled the realm with kindness and justice. That is, until one day he found a small tennis ball sized ball of light. This ball would later be called Galeem. A billion years later, the two gods went to war due to unknown causes.

Billions of years after the war, a vampire flower by the name of Vamp had sprouted. Four years later, a peashooter named Peater had sprouted. Vamp opened her eyes and took her very first breaths of carbon dioxide. And Peater opened his eyes and looked around to see his mother, father, older brother and sister all talking about how handsome he looked. When Vamp sprouted she looked at all the plants near her and they all looked afraid. Peater's mother said that he has his fathers eyes, and Peater made happy baby noises.

Three years later, Peater was playing with his family when a zombie raiding party attacked and his Mother and father were killed while his brother fled into the wild to get away from the war. Leaving Peater's sister, Emily, to look after her 3 year old brother who now has post traumatic stress disorder. Vamp was either going to get killed by plants or she was going to run and hide ever since she went crazy every plant that was near her tried to kill her since she was a vampire she ran away from all that nonsense and ran into a forest nearby.

Many years later, Peater had gotten married to a sunflower called Sunny, and he was on a walk in the same forest that Vamp just so happened to be in. Vamp was crying on the ground in the middle of the forest. Peater heard her crying and went to find it "Umm... H-Hello? Are you o-ok?" Peater called. "Go away, I am a monster!!" Vamp cried. This just made Peater want to make sure she was ok. He had no idea that she was a vampire flower. "How could you call yourself that? I bet you're lovely!" Peater said, trying to calm the plant down. He then went into the area she was in. "O-Oh god... A vampire flower... What do I do...? Do I run? Do I try to help her? Oh Gnomes above... To flee, or not to flee... That is the question..." He said, not sure on what to do. "I don't wanna hurt you, just run!!" She said. Peater gulped, and got closer. She continued to cry while curling herself into a ball. 'She's... Kinda cute...' He thought as he sat down next to her. she pushed him away. "Just go, I don't want to hurt you!" She cried. Peater was really bold. He got close to her and he HUGGED her. "I-It's o-ok m-miss vampire flower. Y-You don't need to cry..." Peater said, trying to calm her down. Peater saw she was crying acidic black tears. "Y-You can hurt me if you want to. I just want you to stop crying..." Peater told Vamp, trying to cheer her up. She just continued crying while saying "I'm a monster" over and over again. "You're not a monster. You're a plant. Do you know what a monster is?" Peater asked. "A plant/person who kills and scares people/plants" She responded. "No. No it's not. Look at me." He tilted her head up so she was looking into his sky blue eyes. "A monster is someone who ENJOYS doing that. Do you enjoy doing that?" Peater told/asked her. "At night..." She began. "What do you mean by 'at night'?" Peater asked. "I go crazy at night... Hunting..." She said. "Is there any way you can control or stop it?" Peater asked. "No..." She said. "What if someone was to... Lock you in a room so you couldn't hunt?" Peater sergested. "No one likes me so why would they?!" She said before running off, crying. "W-Wait! C-Come back!" Peater called, But she kept running. So Peater chased after her.

After running for a while, she sat down by a tree and buried her hands into her face, still crying. "W-What's your name?" Peater asked. "Just. get. away. from. Me." Vamp told him. "I-I don't want you t-to be lonely..." He said. "JUST GO!" She yelled. Peater looked scared and backed away. "I-I-I-I just wanted t-t-to be y-y-your friend..." Peater said, close to tears. She then cried more. "I-I wanted to he-help..." He said. "I am just going to starve myself of blood to death. I am more harm than help I am just a monster..." she said quietly. Peater hugged her. "P-Please don't kill yourself..." he said. "Why shouldn't I? I am more harm than help." She told him. "Hey, an old friend of mine once told me that even the worst person can change. So you can too." Peater said to Vamp, hugging her more. she stopped crying and Peater saw her face. He pressed his forehead against hers. "It's ok... Hey, how about you stay with me and my wife for a while?" He asked. "I will just take up space and could kill you both..." Vamp said. "I want you to have a home though." He said. "I don't need one I am better off just dying..." She said. "DON'T SAY THAT!" He said, hugging her tighter. "I had a miserable life and I want it to end..." She said. "Kill me..." She added. "I'm not going to kill you... You don't deserve to die..." He told her. "I have had a miserable life and want to die so please end my misery..." She said. "Please do it" She added. "I don't want to hurt you..." He started crying a little. "It is for the better of me...please take me out of this cruel world" Vamp told him. "I'M NOT GOING TO KILL YOU!" He started crying more. "Then I will find someone else to do it." She told him as he started to leave. Peater remembered something. "Vamp! it's me Peater!" He told her. "I don't know you and I don't care." She told him. That hurt his feelings a lot. Peater then just curled up and started crying more. "If you are not going to kill me then get out of my sight." She said as she started to leave. "I-I remember WE loved each other... We used to... 'Do it' all the time..." He told her. "Well I don't f***ing know you so bye. "She told him. She was way more aggressive than before. "Fine..." Peater said with a sigh and He shot her with a tranquiliser dart. she was almost out of sight but she fell to the floor asleep immediately.

She woke up tucked in a bed with a few pillows around her. "H-huh? Where am i?" Vamp asked. "The spare bedroom in at my house. You didn't do anything last night. and it was because of you sleeping." Peater responded. "Why did you bring me here?" She questioned more. "I didn't want you to kill yourself Vamp." Peater told her. "How do you know my name?" She asked. "I... I don't know... It's like I know every little thing about you. but I know nothing too." He said. "I just have a miserable life that is why I want to kill myself cause I know heaven or hell will be better" Vamp said. "You just need to find someone you love. A name I seem to recall is 'Pods'." Peater told her. "How do you know him?" She asked. "I-I-I-I-I don't know!" He said. "Well we saw each other then parted ways after we said hi~" She explained. "You two were meant to be best friends..." Peater said. "Can you let me go now? I feel uncomfortable being around here." Vamp told him. "But these things were your favourite things!" Peater told her. "Can you just let me go? I really, don't wanna be around here and you think I like you well I don't." She said "Fate has something planned for us... I can feel it..." Peater said, cryptically. "Well I don't care about you at all" She said, coldly. She started to leave the house. "We'll meet again. I know we will." Peater said. "No we won't." She said as she left.
