My First Day

I jolted up in bed as I heard my alarm clock go off, gah! Is it my first day of school already? I thought to myself, ugh, there's no time to think about it, I have to get ready! I got up out of bed, and put on my school uniform, but since I was in a hurry, I forgot to button one of the buttons. No matter! I have to get to school! I ran out the door with toast in my mouth and made my way to school.

When walking through the school gates, I felt kind of relieved that nobody was there to see me, but at the same time it's embarrassing to be late on your first day! I looked at my schedule, and noticed was all over the place, I was in the completely wrong hallway! I started running in the halls, desperate to find my class, when suddenly...

CRASH!

I bumped into a tall handsome guy, with beautiful brown eyes, which I felt that I could stare into forever... And I almost did, but he snapped me back to reality. "Watch where you're going, loser!" He yelled, then looked at me and paused immediately. "O-oh... sorry... Are you new here?" he asked me, as he blushed. I scratched my head, then replied, "Yeah, and I'm sorry for bumping into you..." I said shyly. "Hey, it's okay you didn't mean to. Where are you headed to, cutie-- I-I mean...uh new kid." He said, embarrassed, I blushed. "Oh... I'm h-headed to class 1B." I stuttered. "Thats my class too! Want me to take you?" He offered, holding his hand out with a welcoming smile. I nodded, and grabbed onto his hand, as he led me to my class.

Walking into class, as me and the tall guy held hands, I felt everyone's eyes on us, and as I looked around the room, I saw this handsome dark mysterious man looking at me. Then suddenly, someone yelled out "OOH, Did Tinky Winky get a new boy toy?" The tall guy blushed, and by then I assumed his name was Tinky Winky. "SHUT UP, PO!" Tinky yelled out, and I slightly blushed from this so-called Po's comment, but then I noticed someone staring at me. It was this guy with green hair and the males school uniform. He looked like he was mad at me, but what did I do? I didn't bother to think about it any further... After all it's just my first day. I let go of Tinky's hand and walked off to find a desk. The mysterious handsome man was pointing to the desk next to him, so I just sat there. Tinky looked at me, with jealousy in his eyes, but he then walked off to his desk next to the green hair guy. The tall dark handsome man next to me then asked, "Hey, you new here?" He said, with a look that made it seem like he's very interested in me. "Oh uh... yeah, I just transferred." I laughed nervously. "Well, what's your name, cutie?" I blushed, why has everyone I met so far called me cutie? "I'm Walten, you?" I smiled. "Shadow, you better remember it." he winked, and my face turned completely red. I could tell he was into me at this point... I nodded and looked away, losing interest. Shadow had a shocked look on his face, "Hey... I'm sorry, I was joking." he tilted his head, apologizing. I ignored him, then the teacher walked in. "Alright class, settle down. I would like to introduce you to our new student, if you would... please stand up, Walten." I stood up, embarrassed because everyone was looking at me. "I-I'm Walten, I really like computers and robotics." I said, waiting for everyone to start whispering to each other about me... But instead, I swear I heard someone say, "He's kind of cute..." and I blushed. "Thank you Walten, now, please treat your new classmate with respect." I bowed, and then sat back down. Whispers filled the room, but not the bad whispers... It was like... complimenting whispers, I felt relieved that no one hated me. But then, I caught eye contact with the green hair guy, and I felt that he hated me... But why?! What did I do...

Maybe I can become friends with him one day, hopefully... I started thinking about the green hair guy, and wondering what I possibly could have done to make him upset, but I got pulled back to reality after hearing the teacher call my name. "Walten! What is the answer to question 2?" And then I started panicking, I wasn't listening to the teacher, so I didn't know what the question was, and then I had no choice left but to guess.

"Uh, 138?" I yelped out, then got surprised when the teacher said I was correct... "Correct!" The teacher yelled. But as I thought about it more, how could that possibly be the answer if I'm in English class?! Gosh first days are so confusing! I looked back at Shadow, he still seemed upset. Did I really hurt his feelings? Maybe I should apologize... "Hey... Uhm... Shadow?" I said, he quickly looked back at me. "What." He mumbled. "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings." I told him, genuinely meaning everything I said. Then he started to... laugh? I was a bit weirded out, but his laugh was kind of handsome... "Hey, you two! What are you laughing about." The teacher yelled out, making me snap back to reality as I was distracted by Shadow's laugh. "Detention, it's your first day. You should know better." The teacher said, I thought it was kind of stupid, because he was just laughing! Man, this teacher sucks. "Yes sir, sorry."

A few hours later, everything went well, and now it was time for lunch. I walked out of the classroom and Tinky Winky walked up to me, staring at me with jealousy burning in his eyes. "What's wrong Tinky?" I asked, worried about him. "Who was that." He said seriously. I was confused, "Huh?" 

"Who was the guy next to you." He spoke. It was at that moment that I realized he meant Shadow, "Who? Shadow?" I said innocently. "Don't talk to him, he's a horrible guy, you know?" Tinky said, which made me confused. "What do you mean? He seems nice!" I told him, what could he have possibly meant? "He dates people and then breaks their hearts. You shouldn't talk to him; you might be next." Tinky told me with a serious look on his face. "Okay Tinky, now you're just being ridiculous. Stop being overprotective as if you're my boyfriend, you're not. I will talk to who I want to." I said, watching Tinky's face as he looked at me in shock. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that..." He quietly spoke, well I guess I shouldn't get too mad at him... He probably didn't mean it. I sighed, "It's alright Tinky... Please just don't get overprotective over me, we're just friends anyway." His face turned slightly sad, "Yeah, sorry."

I walked off to lunch, trying to forget this awkward conversation with Tinky... But the question is, where is the cafeteria?? I looked around and didn't want to go back to Tinky, it would be kind of embarrassing if I said I didn't know where the cafeteria was, especially after that conversation with him. When looking around, I noticed the green hair dude from earlier and decided to ask him for help. 

"Hey, do you know where the cafeteria is?" I asked him, as his face turned slightly annoyed. "Uhm, sorry, no. I have amnesia and can't help you." He said, walking off. Well, that was rude, and it seemed totally fake. I decided to follow him, to see if he was heading to the cafeteria. But instead, he walked into the bathroom... I decided it was best to not follow him in there... I'll find my own way around.
