The Mystery of the prophecy

Since the beginning of time, each person has been given a spirit guide they usually pass down from generation to generation. There are three specific animal spirit guides that are meant to protect the whispering forest. They are the bear the wolf and the crow. The wolf is wise, intelligent, and understanding. The raven is observant, free, and a collector of sorts. The bear is strong, loving, and protective. The original wolf was Ash's father Mark, then Kris stepped in to keep the secret hidden for as long as possible. it and now it is Ash's responsibility even though he doesn't quite understand it yet. The original Raven was Alfred, Then Kip took over when he left. Now it is James's responsibility. The original bear was Mary, then Kit, and now it is Willow's responsibility. I wrote all of this down in a journal keeping track of the history of this land is important especially because it is so intertwined with Ash's prophecy. I signed, leaning back in my chair and rubbing my eyes. "Hey, Kris how come you didn't tell him the whole prophecy?" Kip the youngest of us asked, from the doorway. "Because it just didn't feel right, and it might jeopardize his thinking and the mission"

"But you don't know that for sure Kris" this coming from Kit who was laying on the window seat upside down.

"You both saw how they were when we went to check up on them, you can't tell that you didn't feel their bond"

"This is their destiny after all we already proved that when we tried to separate them before when they set that trap."

"Yeah, even I admit that was astonishing," Kit said.

"Even when we tried when they were kids, they always found a way back to each other, I say we just let them be for now."

"Alright and when the time comes, then what do we do?" Kip asked.

"We do damage control, and help them out as much as possible."

"Kris, do you think he can do it?" Kit asked sitting up from his position. Tilting his head slightly. " Honestly yes I do, but if not then we must prepare for the worse to happen"

"Which is what exactly?" Kip questioned.

"The total collapse and possible destruction of the whispering forest."

"Which I don't believe will happen"

"What does it mean if it does?" he asked.

"We will most likely cease to exist and so will our history"

They both went silent after that, we all were trying to digest the information.

This was a lot of pressure, and we still weren't exactly sure who the enemy is we have an idea and we almost had him too if we weren't so busy chasing Ash we might have been able to ask him questions. Oh well, nothing we could do about it now except, wait and watch. However waiting and watching was not my forte, I would much rather deal with the problem immediately but we didn't have enough information. I was snapped out of my thoughts by a cold nose touching my arm. I looked down to see that it was my spirit guide, he was pitch black and big, I named him Zephyr, and he looked up at me with his gold-colored eyes "It will be okay my boy calm down" he whispered in my mind, I smiled "I know Zephyr, thank you" he licked my hand and laid down beside me. I stood up and stretched feeling every joint in my body pop.

"Where are you going?" Kip asked,

"To check on the stone, I will be back soon"

I walked out of the room and down the stairs, once I was outside I took a familiar old and worn-out path to the stone, the stone in question was a green crystal it was the reason why the whispering forest always stayed the same and it puts up the protective barrier that surrounds us so, from the outside it just looks like a cave, but the inside is where the true secret lies. Before I knew it I had arrived, I looked at the crystal it looked to be okay just a few more cracks but nothing too serious. I wrote it down in my journal, I was so distracted trying to get the cracks drawn to write that I didn't notice the dragon looking over my shoulder, "A little more to the left with that last one my friend" The dragon said spooking me I jumped a little "Sapphire how many times have I told you not to sneak up on me like that." She opened her mouth and stuck out her tongue she was clearly laughing about it. "A lot master Kris but I just couldn't help myself" she then rolled over on her back and asked for belly scratches which I complied with. I ran my hands over her soft underbelly it was the only place that didn't have scales, however, her skin is impossible to cut because it just absorbs everything. "A little more to the right," she said. I moved my hand a little up and to the right, and she started kicking her back leg in pleasure. She was like a big puppy. I chuckled at the thought of a big puppy with claws, fangs, and wings, but a puppy nonetheless. Once she was pleased she stood up and shook herself off, spreading out her wings and taking flight, she was beautiful. I smiled at the thought of how lucky I was to live in such a beautiful place. I made my way back to the house I stood in front of it, It was a two-story building made completely out of wood it was also designed to camouflage itself if we were ever to be attacked. I opened the front door and was greeted by the smell of stew and rice. I settled at the table while Kit handed me a bowl, "Thank you" I said,

"No problem"

"Kip hurry up" he called up the stairs.

Kip flew down the stairs and into the seat next to me, Kit dished him out a bowl and we all settled down to enjoy our evening meal.
