The demon slayer and the princess

After Venti finished playing his lyre, he looked at Zelda with a thoughful smile.

"Say, you have been to the Wangshu Inn before, right?" He asked as his lyre vanishes into thin air.

Zelda nods after she gave paimon a snack. "I have. Is there something wrong with it?"

He shakes his head "No. Just wanted to ask if you could check up on someone for me"

Zelda raised an eyebrow at this. Venti sighed and said "Its Xiao. The conqueror of demons."

"I remember him. He caught me when i fell from the jade champer." Zelda acknowledged.

From the blurry memory she had from re-awakening her powers on the jade champer, thats the only thing she could remember.

Shaking that her head to get back to reality, she looked at Venti for him to explain further.

"Would it be ok to ask if you could check up on him? I think you might be able to helo him with his problem."

"Well-"

"Thanks!" He answers with a cheeky grin as he teleports away using his anemo powers.

Zelda was stunned for a moment, but sighed afterward. She really wasn't surprised at his action right now.

She wonders why its so important to visit Xiao. Sure, he was a respectable being, but he made it clear he wasn't interested in mortal affairs.

She got up and dusted her pants of any dirt, then she turned to paimon and Terrako with a smile "lets be off."

"Wait, don't you want to try getting anemo powers from the statue? Paimon remembers you not having them" Paimon chides in before Zelda could teleport them all.

Zelda tilted her head to the side in thought. The geo and anemo powers disappeared when the curse broke. But a try wouldn't be so bad.

Nodding, she went up to the statue and touched it. After a few seconds, to her surprise, a ball of anemo energy came out of the circular structure the statue was holding and went inside her chest.

She could feel the anemo power in her now. When she was lumine, the glowing parts of her clothing woulf change to fit the element, but this time, only one thing changed colour.

Looking at the back of her hand, the triforce symbol appeared, but something was different. The three main traingles were still yellow, however, the upside down triangle in the middle was now teal and had the anemo symbol on it.

"Impressive" She said with excitement as she took put a small notepat and wrote her sighting down in hylian.

"Does she always have to write stuff down?" Paimon whispered to Terrako.

Terrako didn't respond to her and just went to sit on Zeldas shoulder.

A few seconds later, the three of them were inglufed in light and then teleported.

A few hours have passed since Xiao started killing corrupt hulichurls in the area. They were all tainted by his Karma and were more dangerous than usual.

Naturally, as his job as an adeptus, he took them down with ease. He would kick himself if any of his Karmic debt affected any Mortals nearby.

"Useless!" He pronounced as he decapitated the last Hilichurl, it going into smoke after being killed.

His mask dissapears and so does his polearm. He was about to enter the place where its most corrupted, until he heard footsteps.

"Who rhoams her-" He cut himself off when he saw three figures appraoch. Two he knows, one he doesn't.
