Y/N woke up feeling like shit , her nose was blocked , her head was pounding and her throat was burning.
She sat up trying to wake up and got up to check her temperature.
She saw it wasn't a fever but it was still high , but she was home alone cuz her parents told her the day before that they were gonna run errands all morning.
Y/N knew she probably had to eat but she didn't want to do anything except laying in bed so she did just that.
She tried to go to sleep but she couldn't so instead she checked her phone.
She saw mason had texted her , then she quickly remembered that they had plans to go see scream 6 today "shit" she muttered.
Mason had been looking forward to this because he loves the scream movies , however he had been busy and today was the only day he was free to watch it and also the last day they were showing it in cinemas.
Y/N didnt want to break the news to him that she couldn't , but she had to. So she decided to call him.

Y/N still thought mason was mad even though he said he didn't care. She still wanted to talk to him on the phone more but she understood he had to go.
She just scrolled on tiktok , still not having the energy to go to the kitchen.
A few minutes pass by as she hears footsteps , assuming her parents came back home.
The door swings open , revealing mason and both a CVS bag and McDonald's bag in his hands.
"Mase? What are you doing here?" She sat up confused.
"What do you mean? I wasn't gonna leave you here alone, you told me your parents weren't here" he said as he sat on the corner of her bed and rummaged through the bags.
"How did you get in?" She asked , "The key you told me was in the flower pot" He answered.
He got out the McDonald's breakfast which contained an egg McMuffin and warm orange juice.
"Oh , thank you" she smiled at him , "Of course" he smiled back , with a slightly worried look on his face.
He unwrapped it for her and gave it to her as she began eating it.
"How are you feeling?" He asked as he layed down next to her.
He gently moved her hair back to the pillow because it was all in her face.
"I'm better than I was when I woke up" she replied , "I don't wanna get you sick tho" she turned around to face him.
"Y/N/N , i don't care if I get sick" he grinned , "but I do" she smiled back.
"Well I don't" he said again as he rests his hand on her jaw and kisses her cheek.
She could feel herself blush as she smiled then went back to eating her breakfast.
Once she finished , Mason went through the CVS bag and pulled out some medicine , he grabbed the water bottle from her bedside table.
She took the pill , and swallowed it then drinking the water.
"Mason i know you told me not to apologize but i seriously feel so bad for stopping u from this because I know you were so excited and-" Y/N started before mason cut her off.
"Y/N" he said , "Yeah?" She replied with a sorry look on her face.
"We can just watch it here okay?" He smiled , putting a hand on her shoulder.
"But how?" She questioned , "There's something called illegal websites" He said sarcastically.
"Oh , right" Y/N realized , Mason got her Laptop and started typing in the website.
They found the movie so mason proceeded to go close the blinds , not allowing light to enter the room.
He walked back to Y/N 's bed pulling the blankets over them and putting his arm around her.
She snuggled into him as they started watching the movie.
Mason furrowed his brows and an annoyed look spread on his face as he went to click off a notification.
"No one cares if Anna is 5 miles away" he muttered.
