The Sweetest poison

“Hello, is anybody here? Please untie my hands? Where am I?” A man ,who was tied inside a dark room of an abandoned apartment is the speaker of these above words. Just after he cried out these words, sound of  accompanying footsteps were being heard. After sometime, a tall, athletic man wearing a dark hoodie was seen approaching the tied hostage. The hostage cried , “Do you know , who am I? I am a freaking neurosurgeon. I am Doctor Sudhir Bose. Let me go now or else you are going to regret....”. A hard punch was thrown on his face by the hooded man and he continued , “ You are just a narcissistic , fucking piece of filth. Keep your mouth shut or else” he took out a pistol  and told , “ Am going to shut it out myself and I swear on my Doctor’s license and my short successful career in the field, you and Trisha are going to regret it.” The tied man sighed and asked , “ You are a doctor? And how do you know about my daughter? Where is she?”

“ Raj , why are you so unromantic? Don’t you love me anymore?” Raj smiled and hugged Sakshi and told her, “ The results are going to be released within 2 days and you are constantly chewing my brain about love ,relationships etc.” Sakshi punched him on his chest affectionately and replied , “ Stop the drama, both of us know that like always , you are going to top.” Raj laughed and replied , “ I am not worried about me.” Sakshi smiled and started walking with Raj. Rajiv Sen, is what somebody will call a hardworking student. Along with studies , he also excels in painting, boxing and photography. He is popular among his peers especially for his female peers who describe him as ‘pinnacle of masculinity’ because of his looks and especially for his behaviour towards them and others. In the 4th year, he got into relationship with Sakshi, a girl from his class. She is also a talented student and artist. Not to mention, if Raj is labelled as ‘pinnacle of masculinity’ , Sakshi is known as ‘pinnacle of beauty’ by the boys. She never accepted anyone’s proposal, much like Raj. The love between them happened suddenly and was not planned at all.

While dropping Sakshi to her hostel, Raj told , “ Don’t worry. It will be fine. After the results , I am going to meet your parents to ask for permission to marry you.” Sakshi smiled and bid him goodbye and told , " No doubt while love is called the Sweetest poison".

Present day

“Sir, I am sorry for inconvenience, but you won’t be able to eat anything for 2 days. But don’t worry , you will get the best sleep of your life in these 2 days. Promise.” Then the hooded man laughed and injected Dr Sudhir  some thing.” The man told , “ It was a high dose of codeine.” Before getting knocked , Dr Sudhir asked , “ Why are you doing this to me? Where is Tris...”

“ Dad I hate that bitch. Because of her, Raj ignores me. I am sure , she manipulated him. And now I am sure , she is also going to score more than me , thanks to Raj’s guidance.” It was some uncommon drawing room chat between a father and a daughter about the daughter’s one sided love life. This girl has a crush on Raj and as he is in relationship with Sakshi, she is jealous of her. Her father replied , “ You should have studied rather than poking in someone’s love life . Even though Raj and Trisha, none of them have family background in the field of medical and still they are excellent and you being daughter of the one of the most well known and successful neurosurgeon , is not able to get even a distinction grade. You should be ashamed of yourself Trisha.” By hearing this , Trisha started crying which irritated her father, Dr Sudhir , who replied  , Don’t cry , I will see what I can do.”

Present day

“Hey babe , can you meet me now ? I have a surprise for you.” A female voice replied from the other side of phone , “ Sure. Where do you want to meet , Raj?” Raj replied , “ The place where we were last week at night.” The voice replied , “ Oh , my naughty boy, you want to have some extreme fun today again ? Alright, am coming.” Raj hung up the phone and put it inside his jacket’s pocket. He put his hand inside his backpack and a metallic click  was heard.
