Kira had asked for a few weeks off of work, excusing it as going to visit his family. They would never know what he was truly doing.
His dark irises followed closely, but following one man, particularly: his beloved.
Diavolo was getting hurt on his job. Kira was going to find out why, and he was going to fix it. His body shook with rage when he thought about the idea of the pink-haired man being hurt in any way.
So, one day, he got up early in the morning. Very early. He watched his clock tick into the fourth hour of the morning, the sky still dark outside.
Kira didn't mind. He would lose a week of sleep if it meant he could fix Diavolo's situation. Make sure his little devil is never hurt again. He creeped towards Diavolo's house and watched him through the window.
To Diavolo, Kira tried to be his best self: he was the nicest, warmest, most loving and compassionate man on earth for him. But when the pinkhead was not around, Kira was a cold-blooded, stalkerish killer.
But it's not like Diavolo was any better. He also killed. Kira knew that since the first day he had met him.
He didn't expect Diavolo to wake up very quickly. It was far too early for any sane person to be just waking up; but nevertheless, Kira ducked under the frame of the window, so Diavolo wouldn't know. He's not allowed to know.
When the waking man turned his back to the window and his front to his closet, Kira rose back up to watch the man gather clothes for the day and then exit the room, leaving the folded cloths laying on the side of the bed.
Kira could not sneak into the house, he could only watch through the windows. So he went around the outer walls to see Diavolo waltz towards the kitchen and just sit at the table tiredly. He fell into his hand and sighed.
"Why am I up so early...?" He sighed and spoke quietly. "I'm gonna mess up again."
'Mess up again?' What's the meaning of that? Kirs put his hand gently over his lips as he thought.
Oh.
So Diavolo was getting hurt because he messed up?
Kira was fuming, but he kept quiet. He can't be heard. All he could do was let a nasty snarl come across his lips. He'll fix it. Diavolo will never be hurt again.
Kira had a problem with obsession that he was aware of. He was overly obsessed with many different things, but the most dangerous form of this obsession came out when he obsessed over a person.
But this time was different.
Kira expertly watched his beloved begin to cook, he watched how precisely his hands moved and stared at his sultry, tired eyes as they watched the food he made. He was just beautiful...
The blond couldn't get over himself. Even the man's smallest inactions made Kira feel all warm inside.
The clock ticked and tocked, and soon, it was time for Diavolo to get himself and his son ready. But not before the mafia man received an important call.
"I'm working the night? Alright. Thank you."
Ah, the night shift. Perfect! It'll give Kira the perfect chance to hide himself among the shadows while he makes sure Diavolo gets the finishing blow every time.
Until the sun began to set, Kira spied on the man for his every move and watched him fulfil even the most boring and mundane daily tasks. It was so boring, but it made his heart flutter.
Come the evening, Kira followed Diavolo to the place where he was supposed to meet his teammate and leader.
"You better not mess up this time." The man in the higher position snarled at Kira's beloved, who just shot him a quiet glare.
Oh, he won't. That's for sure.
They began to walk out of their meeting point with their guns in hand. Kira began to think of a plan. He doesn't have a gun, and even if he did, it would probably be obvious to the two others if two shots hit their target. Then, he'll have to use his Stand, Killer Queen! But he has to make sure Diavolo doesn't see it. He'll know immediately if he sees the pink, cattish Stand.
But the shadows are on his side! He had hatched a perfect plan, now he just needs to execute it perfectly.
Yoshikage Kira was a man of precision and perfection. He will do everything's to the smallest detail until it is flawless.
Kira followed by, his Ghostly ability following him closely as the deadly green eyes stared at the assassins.
And they reached the target. Kira didn't care to remember many details about the person they wanted to kill. All he knew is that they had the person placed exactly where Kira wanted. The gloved hand discreetly went forward and grabbed their arm, waiting.
"Shoot, goddamnit!!" He heard the gruffy noise of the leader as a bullet shot forward. In the blink of an eye, the man had seemed to be hit. He was injured...
Far more than a bullet wound should have injured him. The man was hanging onto his life by the skin of his teeth.
Diavolo stared at the murder with shock in his soul. What... just happened?
"Something is fishy." The growling voice spoke calmly. "Put your gun down."
The pink haired man brought his arms down and remained dead silent. He was shaken by what he saw. But most of all, shaken by the fact that the murder practically succeeded.
"Tch..." Kira whispered lowly to himself, not daring to raise his voice more than the height of his breath for the chance that one of them would hear him tisk. He should've controlled himself more. Yoshikage Kira let go and dove back into the mix of shadows that hid him as he watched the leader walk up to the living corpse.
"Something is not right." The leader's inner instincts told him. He looked to the left and only saw a wall. With a wall this tall, no shot would've landed as perfectly as this one did. It didn't come from on top of the wall. He'll have to check behind the wall. However, that seemed impossible to him. Unless...
No need to assume. He turned to the right to see the shadows and stared. Perhaps. He'll have to get....
A closer look.
But before that... he had to ensure something.
"He, jackass." He spoke with a rattling voice. The man working beneath him turned to corner his brows, staring at him with a face of concern.
"You didn't get anyone to help you with this murder, right?" His voice was so cold. So apathetic. A feeling of nervousness set in Kira's heart as he realised...
He may have just gotten Diavolo into deeper trouble than before.
