Part 1

*alarm sound

K: How sleepy.... But why do I have to get up already, it's so early! (he said rolling his face into the pillow)

After another five minutes he got up, and half asleep went to have breakfast and washed his face. Then he put on his uniform, tidied up his unruly locks a bit and walked towards the bus stop.
After about 20 minutes he arrived near the school.

K: Luckily it wasn't late today (the bus). I still have 15 minutes left.

So he went into the street café near the school. Inside, like every morning, there were Diane and Elizabeth who, as good best friends, were having breakfast together, sitting at a table.

D: And as I was saying- Hey King! You're early today! (she greeted the boy cheerfully, interrupting the conversation with Elizabeth)

K: Um... yeah, the bus was on time eheh! (he replied, slightly embarrassed at the sight of the girl he liked).

In particular, King paused to look at the girl's new uniform, probably bought the day before at the mall with Elizabeth. She had a cute little jumper over her blouse, and a dark fluttering skirt, sheer stockings, and long, wide sleeves...

D: King, are you hungry? (Diane's voice interrupted his thoughts)

K: Huh? What?

D: Do you want a croissant? (lifted up a small tray)

K: No, no thanks. I've already had breakfast (he sat down on the small cloth sofa, next to the main window)

D: Are you sure? Alright then.

(After a few seconds of silence while Elizabeth and Diane were finishing eating)

D: Ugh, we have that history quiz today!

K: You're right... Whatever, come on, it won't be that bad.

D: You speak, you're good at history.... I hope the professor won't call me.

E: Come on Diane, in any case it will be fine, you'll see.

Diane smiled and said: Maybe we'd better go now. It's five minutes until the bell rings.

She gathered her things and waited for Elizabeth and King to get up.
Then, they walked out of the café and approached the courtyard of the school.
