𝐘/𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 enjoy the last few moments she had with her friends today. in just a few hours, she would be driving to florida with her family.
"ugh, i can't believe you have to leave again! it seems like you just got back from florida yesterday!" b/2 exclaimed, y/n nodded in agreement.
"right? and my family knows i hate these stupid trips. like, why can't i just stay at my friend's and you guys can go to florida?" she's asked her family that multiple times. but they always responded with the same answer. 'this is a way for us all to spend some time together as a family,'
"we're gonna miss you so much," b/3 said, wrapping an arm around y/n's shoulder and pulling her into a side hug.
"i'll miss you guys, too. but, at least we can still call and text!" y/n tried to brighten the mood, smiling wide at her three best friends.
"yeah! and before we know it, she'll be right back here with us!" b/1 exclaimed, pulling them into a group hug.
"alright, it's not like i'm leaving right this second, let's enjoy the day while we can," the three nodded.
"yeah! come on!" they pulled away from their group hug, walking to their class together.

𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐃 of the school day, meaning it was time for y/n to say goodbye to her friends.
"we're gonna miss you so much!" b/2 exclaimed, pulling y/n into a tight hug.
"i'll miss you guys, too," b/2 pulled away, letting y/n hug the other two.
"y/n, it's time to go!" she heard her mother yell from the car.
"well, i'll see you guys in three months," she pulled all her friends into one last group hug before getting in the car.
"honey, i know you're upset but-"
"can we just go?" she cut her mother off. it didn't matter what her mom was going to say anyway, it would still lead to them going to florida.
her mom sighed and drove off, heading toward their house. it didn't take long for them to get there, they didn't live far from the school.
the two hopped out of the car and headed towards the front door, m/n pulling out the keys and unlocking the door.
"we're home!" she shouted through the house, alerting f/n and b/n.
"hi, y/n," b/n said, gently hugging his big sister. his arms could only reach her waist, considering he was only 6 years old.
"hi, bubba," she petted his head, running her fingers through his short hair.
"are you excited?" she smiled, nodding.
"so excited," she always tried to keep a positive attitude around her little brother. he loved these trips, she didn't want to ruin it for him.
"well, you two go get your things together, we leave in 20," they nodded, heading up to their rooms.
as y/n threw some extra things in her bags, m/n walked into the room.
"knock, knock," y/n rolled her eyes, zipping up her bag.
"what do you want?" m/n sighed, sitting down on the edge of her daughter's bed.
"y/n, i know you hate these trips. but, maybe try to start thinking positive, like you do around your brother. who knows, maybe there is something special waiting for you this summer," y/n scoffed, lifting one of her bags and slinging it around her shoulder.
"mom, i know you're trying to make me feel better, but it's really not working. can you please just leave me alone?" she took a few more bags in her hands, taking them downstairs for f/n to put in the car.
"alright everyone, let's take off!" f/n said once he had everything in the car, hopping in the driver's seat. y/n helped her little brother get his seatbelt on before putting hers on herself, struggling a little to get it locked in.
"let's go,"
