Prologue
The zodiac had been intact for many millenniums until the black forest alliance raided the celestial plane. The zodiac gods had been weakened due to the recently reborn animals that kept their ties down to earth. They couldn't reach their earth incarnations therefore they had to stay on the plane. The alliance came with Black, the Star, and the forest queen with him with their massive army. They destroyed the zodial defenses and burst into the celestial prayer room. They held the gods at blade point. The gods knew it was over the snake cunning as he was reached his hand towards his statuette of control he threw a curve. It curved around the room and knocked all the statuettes down to earth where Black Forest could never find them. Since the snake had done this the killed all twelve gods, but couldn't retrieve statuettes from earth because of the shielding on Earth to keep them out. The celestial plane was literally crumbling they were forced to flee. The statuettes shattered and the magic dispersed to find a with a new host. All the Gods were now dead. The statuettes could only take a host after two generations. This happened 200 years ago...
