Throughout the tour so far, Yejun had been pretty good with controlling her anxiety, usually letting excitement fill her mind instead of negativity. That was until they arrived in Los Angeles, California. Anyone could tell that she was anxious about this tour stop in particular. She never wanted to speak about it, always avoiding the topic in conversations. Chan had tried to get her to talk about it, but she refused. Despite pretending to be oblivious, he knew what it was about.

Chan and Jisung were the only two people who had heard tiny stories about Yejun's old home life, even the mildest of stories making them want to protect her from that woman forever. Chan knew they didn't know the worst of Yejun's trauma, which shattered him. He had always felt protective of the girl, but the gut feeling that something was going to go wrong was so incredibly strong as they landed in Yejun's home state.

Jisung was worried sick for his girlfriend. Seeing her so upset made him want to do nothing but hold her hand and comfort her all the time. As they walked through the airport, he had such a strong temptation to grab her hand, seeing the uncomfortable look on her half-covered face as flashes went off left and right. It was a sucky situation for everyone.

"Yejun, are you doing okay?" Jisung asked with worried eyes as the van began to drive off. Yejun absent-mindedly nodded, her eyes void of any clear emotion as she leaned against him in the very back.

"I'm just tired," Yejun answered blankly. Jisung let out a sigh, knowing that pushing her wouldn't do anything good for her. He reached down to grab her hand, his heart dropping when she flinched at the contact.

"You know you can talk with me if you need to, right?" Jisung looked down at her, gently tilting her chin so that she would look up at him, too. Yejun gasped, her eyes filling with tears as she pulled away from him.

"I don't want to," Yejun shook her head, staring down at her shaking hands.

Her mom grabbed her chin, harshly pulling her face to look up into her own eyes. Yejun grabbed the woman's wrist, trying her best to pry the dry, callused hands off of her face. She let out a small cry.

"Please, I don't want to!" Yejun sobbed, letting out a small yelp as her mom squeezed her face in her hand. "I'll go to my room, please I don't want to fight anymore, mom!"

"Don't fucking call me that. Don't call me that ever again! I am not your mother, you are your father's daughter, you hear me?! I will never associate your ugly face with my name," the woman threw Yejun to the ground.

"But, mom-"

"What did I just fucking say?" The woman kicked Yejun, knocking the breath out of her. Yejun let out a cough, a spurt of blood joining the blood pouring from her nose as it dripped to the ground. "You don't belong here! You belong with your daddy in Korea or Japan or whatever the fuck you are!"

Yejun sobbed out, snapping back into reality and looking around her quickly. The members in the van were looking at her with worried looks while Jisung sat there with tears streaming down his face. Yejun's legs were pushed close to her chest and she couldn't help her uncontrollable sobbing, her breath staggering loudly.

"She's not here, I'm safe," she whispered to herself as she tried to calm down her breathing. Her lungs burned, she felt light-headed. She was in so much pain.

"Yejun, baby," Jisung wiped the tears from his face, not knowing what to do.

"Please, stop talking for a second," her voice was barely audible, but Jisung understood. He nodded, giving her some space. "I feel like I'm gonna p-pass out."
