RoGoku walked through Shiganshina District, looking at the crowd of people and the shops set up around. Close behind him was Trish. RoGoku's mother instructed the duo to collect the potato's that she has purchased the day prior. The task seemed simple at first, but as they were approaching the shop, they noticed some commotion occurring in the alley nearby."Give it up kid, you have no reason to fight back!" Yelled a voice.
"I don't care!" Yelled another voice.
As Trish and RoGoku approached the yelling, they spot a group of teenagers surrounding a kid around their age. There stood three boys, one slightly overweight with brown hair, the other more lean with black hair, and the third being the smallest of the group, with brown hair like the first.
Oh great, it's those three. RoGoku thought.
Without much hesitation, RoGoku ran toward the kid in trouble.
"Oh look! It's little RoGoku!" Taunted one of the boys.
Not a second later, Trish was right behind RoGoku.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Yelled the overweight bully.
"It's...Trish!"
Trish ran menacingly behind RoGoku. She had the aura of someone not to be messed with, as she had the face of a warrior. The three bullies ran off, they did not want to mess with her.
"Yeah! You guys better run!" RoGoku said.
As he said that, RoGoku turned around, seeing the truth about the situation. His face turned bummed.
"Hey, kid," RoGoku alerted him. The kid looked very fragile, with ginger hair and a tiny pair of glasses.
RoGoku offered his hand to the fallen victim, but he rejected the hand and got up himself.
"What are you doing trying to argue with those guys?" RoGoku questioned.
"I don't know, they wanted this from me." He held out a book titled "World".
RoGoku decided to not ask anymore questions about what happened, but instead offer friendship.
"You got some fight in you. What is your name anyway?" RoGoku asked.
"Arlert. Smith Arlert." He replied.
"Yeager. RoGoku Yeager."
A day passed, RoGoku's new friend, Smith, had come by to show RoGoku the book he had.
"You see this? This book is called World" explained Smith. This book sparked curiosity within RoGoku. A book called World must have something interesting within it.
"I got this book from my father. You see here? Frozen deserts...Land full of hot rocks...A sea so large and full of salt, no merchant will have time to collect it!"
"No way..." RoGoku has never seen something like this before.
"Maybe one day, we can visit the sea together!" Laughed Smith.
"Yeah!" RoGoku laughed back. As they shared laughter, RoGoku looked up at the great walls.
How will I ever visit those places? Are we trapped in here?
RoGoku looked back down, as he sat on the stairs beside Trish and Smith, he remembered something.
"Hey, one day we should see the world beyond these walls."
