I was walking through the forest full of walkers when I see a familiar face.
"Officer grimes?" I said lowering my gun
"Lin kinder?" Officer grimes said as he turned and got a look at my face
" holy hell that is you." He said " where's your group? You have to have one. There's no way your out here on your own."
"Nope. All alone since last year." I said sadly
" well I know you so let me take you back to my group. Carl is still here with us." Officer grimes added " and just calm me Rick. I haven't been and Officer in a long while "
"Okay, how's your wife?" I asked
" she's not with us anymore..." Rick said sadly
" I'm sorry. She was a great person." I said patting his arm.
After about 20 or so minutes we reach a wall, Rick wissels and the gate opens
I walk in to see houses and people everywhere. When I see another familiar face.
" carl!!!" I screamed running towards him
"Lin?!" He said opening his arms. we run into eachother and hug.
"oh my god. has it been a long while." i say wipeing a tear from my face
"yeah it has. i missed you lin" carl said with a smile
"i missed you too, carl" i said as he pulls me back in for another hug.
after a little bit of me and carl and rick catching up, carl introduced me to the rest of their group plus the other teens in Alexandria. Ron, Enid and some other guy who's name i cant remember.and then we walked around for alittle.
"so hows my best friend doing after all these years without me and being in a zombie apocylips?" i ask carl
"well i really missed you. thats for one thing." carl said trigting the grip on my hand
"and the other?" i asked, he stopped
"well..." he started as he came Infront of me looking at my eyes then my lips. my heart was beating so fast. he then smashed his lips into mine. i was shocked at first but i liked it
"i been in love with you for so long lin. and being apart from you has made me love you even more" he said as he pulled away from the kiss resting his forehead on mine
"you love me?" i asked looking carl in the eyes
"of course, how couldn't i?" carl said.
"i love you too carl." i said as i kissed him again.
