Mac could hear Mason moving around in the bed. 2:36 A.M, her watch read. Mac turned over to face him. "Mase, what's wrong?" Mac asked trying to find Mason's face to place her hands on his face. He coughed in response.
Mac sighed. "Mason, cover your mouth when you cough." Mac said. Mason nodded, barley able to see Mac. "Did I ever tell you I love you?" Mason asked. "Mhm, plenty of time. Sleep" Mac said. "Can't" Mason sighed. "Why?" Mac asked. "Mac- I feel bad, I feel like I'm sick, what's wrong with me?" Mason asked.
Mac placed her hand in his forehead. "Honey, you burning up." Mac said. Mason groaned and leaned his head on her chest. "You don't like being sick, do you?" Mac asked, playing with his hair. "No. Who does?" Mason said. "Depends on if you go to school. I liked being sick to get out of school, didn't you?" Mac asked. "I mean. Yea" Mason shrugged.
Mac kissed his head. "Sleep, pretty boy." Mac said placing kissed along his hairline. "That's a new one." Mason said. "What? Pretty boy? Your a very pretty boy." Mac smiled and ruffled his hair. "I hate you." Mason said. "No, no you don't." Mac laughed.
