There was a sound of pounding in my head. How could I be so foolish to believe those lies.

My boyfriend found me moments later, his eyes consumed with intensity of rage. "You can't escape." His voice grew into a growl as his eyes never left my shivering body. His fingers reached forth, pulling me onto him. These dreaded moments were not to be seen by the eyes of others yet now the scenery shifts.

People stand around us, deep down I hear a voice inside. Begging that this situation never happened. A hushed whisper came from them as they judged what their eyes were witnessing. A quick movement caused me to tumble, my cheek turning to a burning red color.

He, the reason behind this attack, came to me. His fingers touching my cheek almost making me feel better. Almost.

Now we stood in a balcony the night sky shown above us. His fingers in my hair while I was in his arms. It almost seemed genuine, sincere... But I was wrong. As I leaned against the rail he gave a sinister laugh. Next thing I felt was a push towards the unknown. Then I awoke.

Gasping for breath, I find myself in the comfort if my home. Where the ghost of my past still came to haunt my mind. I couldn't bear to leave this place I now called home.

The alarm clock on the desk told me it was 12 midnight. But what was I waiting for? A sudden sound of ringing is heard and I walk to my landline. Placing it by my ear, I listen. Then suddenly everything ticks off.

It was work time for me.

Bodies now lay on the floor as a man at the scene ave a nod of approval. "Good work for a rookie assassin." He said, a smile curling on his lips.

"Is it?" A smug response came from another, a woman, who stood by the side. Her face was lit with wry amusement at the scene that was unfolded in front of her. "I believe she went too far now."

"There is no too far for a mafia organization. They will do what they need to. No matter how troublesome it'd get." The man said with a sigh. The bodies would need to be cleaned up. Blast those idiots who now trashed the place. If they had arrived just a second earlier they might've managed to get the face of the cause of these attacks.

Silence loomed as no more was to be said. The bodies cleared and the police filed the case unknown much to the female detective's disgust.

Behind the scene of the crime, a woman stood. Covered in blood she was. Her e/c searching around. For the next target her boss required her to slay.
