Seagulls flying about in the world's atmosphere is one of mother nature's way of telling us the equilibrium is all the same. The fluttering of their wings tell us that everything is going to be alright in the end. A calling out above the horizon sends all in a daze that has to explain the different treasures that life has to offer that are yet to be discovered. Nothing is compared to the mass beauty of how the creature is given life and taking it beneath their wings with every flutter. Shadows amongst the water from the sunset come from these majestic fliers and nothing can ever beat their serenity.
The threshold that the sun expands within the galaxy is something more than just a big ball of fire; it holds a special power to enlighten everyone's mood and thoughts of what to expect in the future. As the sun sets each day, a new thought always comes to mind. A thought that gets one motivated for the next day's events. Sun light, so bright, first star to ever see the life capture and tag along by. Truth be told, the sunset has witnessed everything that passes through the years. At every setting, the sun expresses its holy gratitude for being able to awaken what lies just beyond Mercury and Venus. Tales of how the sun reflects upon the oceans of the planet have mesmerized the state of mind with all the colours that enter the atmosphere.
Gallons of water enter the oceans everyday by the people whom live in the world. No one is exactly sure as to why that is, but one thing is for sure. The aquatic beauty has a reflection upon the Earth's sky to give it's colour. At sunset, the water and sun have a competition as to who can produce the most rays of a rainbow. The sky has that hint of dark beige, but is mostly purple and orange. With all these colours combined, a massive picture is painted before the eyes of a toddler. The eye's beholder has reached a level of starstruck that is out of this world. Such a sight deserves a lifetime of happiness and hope. Reality has slowly become a dream of mine and sometimes I wonder why I let it slip through my fingers as easily as I did.
Blinking back the tears that threatened to fall, I turned back into the house to find my little boy sitting on the ground playing with the toys Jane had gotten him the other day. Boy, did he love that god damn dinosaur with a passion. That's all he'll ever talk about around dinner time, driving us all insane. Although Leonardo is adorable, Jane had bought the ugliest little toy for our kid. Sometimes I wonder why she would even do something that ridiculous, but that's Jane for you.
Not too long ago, Jane had this idea of getting a jumping castle on the beach for Leonardo's fourth birthday. The only problem with that idea was we have a small backyard and practically live on the beach. Thank god one of us has the brains to actually know what's right from wrong. We ended up getting the little guy something that he would love more than anything: a trampoline. I did say that we have a small backyard, so what's better than to get him a small one so his chihuahua, Debby, could play with him?
About six months ago, I had thought that since we were in no rush for another child we could find another option for the lonely kid. Honest to god, I was thinking about getting him some more stuffed animals to talk to since that's all he seemed to converse with. It would have been a brilliant idea too, if I didn't walk past an animal shelter for homeless animals. Debby was in the viewing window and no one seemed to pay any attention to her and I cannot understand why. She has the cutest little black nose that scrunched up whenever she sneezed. Her eyes were as blue as the Pacific Ocean during the summertime. The fur pattern was extraordinary, there was no doubt about it; maybe that was the reason as to why no one liked her. There are two colours mixed into one, black and velvet, to make her stand out beautifully. Once I saw how gorgeous the dog was, I had to get her. The day I had brought her home was the day I put a huge ass grin on Leonardo's delicate face.
Getting myself out of those wonderful memories, Jane whipped in front of me to plant a chaste kiss to my cheek. Smiling like the hopeless idiot I have become over time, I asked her what it was for. She shrugged and offered her million dollar smile with a hint of adoration in her sparkling eyes. Sighing in an content tone, I felt a small tug on my pant leg. I've felt this feeling before whenever Leonardo begged for a new toy that just came out or simply because he wants to bathe. As I released my gaze from my stunning wife, my son had his arms extended out for me to pick him up.
