It was 845.
They had been travelling for a few weeks now and they have finally arrived just outside the walls protecting the people inside. Carrie, in her Titan form, had slowly came to a stop just 200 or so yards from the wall itself, looking at both of her shoulders at her sister and her two comrades. After the day they had a couple days before, she wanted to be sure every one of them were okay.
"Okay, I think we're far enough. We have to do this now before we're spotted." Reiner, one of their comrades, stated, his hand slightly gripping at Carrie's neck muscle. Upon hearing this, Carrie slightly cracked her jaw, the sound making just about every child around flinch. The three covered their ears as Carrie let out an ear piercing scream, the sound ringing throughout the entire area.
If the people inside the walls didn't think there were other Titans before, they probably know now. Or if they do, they just want to be oblivious to it.
After a moment, the scream died down and Carrie's Titan began to pant softly. The Female Titan has limited range on how far their screams travel, and it would take a couple of tries before all the Titans on the island will converge onto the walls.
And everyone knew it.
"I should help.." Annie muttered, looking up at her older sister. Carrie heard it and she turned her head slightly to look down at her left shoulder where her little sister was. She debated her choice here: let Annie help and they both could lose their voices by the end of it or continue without her and keep her safe.
No, they need to do this. It's the only way to ensure their Homeland and the safety of their people from these devils.
Even though she wasn't okay with it, Carrie brought her hand up to Annie, allowing the younger girl to step on and she lowered to the ground. Annie ran off, going about a couple yards from Carrie and the two boys. Soon after a yellow bolt of lightning came crashing down on her and she replaced with a 14 meter Titan form, her Female Titan form.
Her Titan form was only a meter short of Carrie's, but both Titans looked about the same. You would think they were twins. The difference? Carrie sported the Titan with her auburn hair while Annie's has her blonde hair.
Both Titans looked to each other before Annie had let out a similar scream, the sound going on for a bit before Carrie joined again. They had to get the Titans within range before Bertholdt, one of their two comrades, could bust a hole in the wall.
Today, they were going to win.
Today was going to be their victory and the victory for Marley, their homeland.
