Nathan POV:
It's been at least 4 months since the zombies first attacked. Don't asked me how this happened, but not only did "Infection Z" gone through our country, but it somehow went throughout the world. Me and Tyler went from city to city, trying to find supplies to make us live longer, or join a survival group to spend the rest of our lives with, but it always ended up in us getting our supplies robbed, or a big shootout.
We finally made it to what was once Chicago, and I was praying to God that hopefully we'll find a group that's somewhat decent enough to join, or find a shit-ton of supplies. "I'll keep the engine running," Tyler said. "Go find some supplies." I nodded and got out. But as soon as I turned the corner, I ran smack into a zombie, who suddenly growled out very loudly, but I put him down with a quick stab to the brain. I headed back to the truck, and got in when I heard something running towards us...

Suddenly, an entire horde of zombies came running from the left, the right, and the back of us. "PUNCH IT, TY!" I screamed. Tyler then slammed on the pedal, and sped off. We were a good distance from the horde, but then, the truck ran out of gas. "FUCKFUCKFUCK!!" Tyler said. "Get out! Now!" We both opened the doors and booked it.
We were running for a good 5 minutes, but then we were at a wall that had barbed wire at the top, so we couldn't climb it. "No, no, NOOOO!" I screamed. We then saw the horde making a beeline for us. Tyler aimed the shotgun Dad gave us, but I told him, "Don't! There's too many." We were gonna die...
...that is, until we heard rapid gunfire from above us. We then heard a gate open beside us. "GET IN, QUICKLY!" A buff man yelled at us. We didn't need to be told twice, so we went inside as fast as we could. We then figure out that this place was a hospital that was fortified.
