I was still holding her staff. I wake up slowly. My body looked even more bruised. Ow. Baymax has his work cut out for him.
"My staff!" Bellroc yelled.
I limped over to where she was. I grip it. She killed him. She killed my brother. I aim the staff at her neck. I look at her with eyes burning. Make her pay. Make her pay. I see her eyes. They looked scared. I saw my reflection. I looked really angry. No... killing people is not the way to go. I am not a killer. I'm not a monster like Bellroc.
I dropped the staff at her feet.
"Do what you want. I beat you. I don't want to kill you, but I will lock you up if I have to." I say.
Bellroc stood up. She looked angry but then she let out a breath.
"Hiro Hamada, you have defied your destiny. I am impressed. I will release you. It's not your destiny anymore." She said.
My runes faded. I watch as the sky clears. I see the clouds' part. The beam fades. She turns to me. She lifts my head up.
"You are brave Hiro Hamada. Earth has a mighty hero looking out for it." Bellroc said.
She did a small bow and disappeared into the fire tornado. Aunt Cass ran and hugged me.
"Ow." I say.
"Sorry, you deserve a special dinner. Wings for everyone?" Aunt Cass asked.
"That'd be nice." I say.
I can start making by new destiny. It is not defined by anyone only you. You are your own destiny.
