Montégo slowly awoke to the sound of Lazarus quietly talking to someone and looked up to see him at the door, presumably talking to his chef.

"Yeah," Lazarus said softly, "I'll try and wake him up before the food gets cold, but he seems really tired."

Montégo got out of the bed and rushed to put his pants back on and button a few buttons on his shirt, "I'm up, Laz, it's alright!"
Lazarus looked at him with a smile "Oh! Come, meet Dejen." He waved Montégo over, who then stood beside Lazarus, looking at the man at the door- he had espresso-like skin and long neon green locs that brought out the brown-dominated hazel in his eyes, which had eyebags underneath that were nearly as deep as Lazarus's. He was admittedly very attractive, if not a bit young-looking.

"Hey, so you're the new guy, huh? How was it, sleeping with him?" Dejen laughed, "I'm joking, please don't tell me. Just come downstairs soon so I can serve you, okay?" He smiled before turning on his heel and heading downstairs.

Lazarus looked at Montégo, grinning "Isn't he adorable? I just wanna pinch those cheeks! What do you think?"

Montégo laughed softly, "They're cute, alright, but maybe a little young for me."

"Huh?" Lazarus questioned, "He's only a year younger than me. Am I too young?" He asked despite knowing he couldn't possibly be too young for Montégo as he was literally over a century old, "I'm 23."

"I'm 26. 23 is alright, but 22 is definitely pushing it."
Lazarus nodded and smiled, wrapping his arm around Montégo's hips and kissing his cheek once more, "Good to know they won't be any competition!"

"Are you scared of some competition Laz? I didn't peg you as the jealous type.."  Montégo smiled smugly, although he couldn't prevent a light blush from covering his cheeks,

"No, not at all! In fact, I like having to work for what I want," He winked, "But I can't be beat, anyway."

Montégo chuckled at Lazarus's confidence as the two began walking downstairs.

Montégo and Lazarus entered the dimly lit dining room hand in hand and Montégo immediately found himself smelling the air with deep inhales, "Oh my Gods! That smells so good!"
Both Lazarus and Dejen immediately snapped their heads to look at Montégo, taken aback by the reference to gods in Lazarus's less-than-holy household. Dejen grimaced, nearly showing his fangs and Lazarus smiled awkwardly,
"It does smell delicious. Thank you, Dejen." He led Montégo to the table, pulling out a chair and then rounding the table to take a seat directly across from the one he pulled out for Montégo.
Dejen served them their meals, explaining along the way and then poured both of them a glass of white wine and a glass of water before leaving while calling out: "I'll give you lovebirds some privacy! Call me if you need anything!"

Lazarus watched as Montégo began eating, not wanting to begin himself yet and just sipping on his wine.
He couldn't help but think about how much he liked Montégo's touch, and how warm it is. And, of course, that aroused him. He would've loved to receive more attention from Montégo, but something about him made Lazarus want to slow down- something about him almost made Lazarus feel a twinge of guilt over how soon he used his incubus abilities.

He hummed softly before he began eating, only taking small bites and glancing up at Montégo every once in a while. At first, the silence was comforting, but it eventually grew awkward and tense,
"Ah...thank you for inviting me, by the way. And thanks for the lunch. And the...you know. I really do appreciate it." Montégo smiled softly before taking a sip of his water.

"Oh, you're welcome. It's nothing, really. How was I supposed to resist inviting someone as cute as you?" Lazarus laughed softly, glancing down.
Montégo chuckled and his face flushed a shade of dark red, "Uh, we should do this again sometime...right?"

"Yeah! I agree. I'm throwing a party tonight if you wanna come? It's okay if not, I'll understand."

"No, no, I'll come! Of course I'll come. What time is it?"

"It'll be at 9 PM. My shift should me over by then but I do work in the ER, so ya never know. My housekeeper lives with me, though, so he'll be back and getting everything started." Lazarus smiled, fidgeting with his thumbs,

"Alright, Dr. Laz! What's the theme, if there is one?" Montégo asked before taking another sip of his water

"It's gonna be a blacklight party in the basement, everyone down there's gonna wear neon. But since all my friends are goths and punks, people outside the basement will likely be dressed in goth fetish gear. Like usual." He shrugged, watching Montégo for any reactions.

Montégo's eyes widened with a flash of excitement at the phrase 'fetish goth gear', but he tried to hide it, "That sounds cool! I'll definitely be there."

"Awesome." Lazarus glanced at Montégo's now empty plate, "Well...I gotta get ready for work..." He smiled softly, standing up, "Do you wanna exchange emails?"

Montégo stood up as well, laughing at Lazarus's question, "Are you serious? I'll just leave my phone number, right?"
Lazarus nodded hesitantly and passed his phone to Montégo, who struggled for a bit with typing in such an unfamiliar phone, then finally finished typing in his number and handed the phone back to Lazarus who quickly thanked him and began leading him to the door.
"So...see you tonight."

"Yeah," Montégo nodded, "Thanks again for today."

Lazarus just nodded back and opened the door, quickly giving Montégo a kiss on the cheek.
Montégo blushed and gently grabbed Lazarus's face, looking into his eyes for a moment before their lips met, a deep kiss ensuing for the next few minutes.
The two pulled away at the same moment, breathing faster than before, "Ah, bye Dr. Laz." Montégo smiled and stepped outside,

"Bye Montégo. Have a good day!" He called the last sentence out as Montégo walked away, soon heading back to his own home and deciding against meeting any new neighbors for the rest of that day.
