Patrick Hockstetter pov:

I got up and stretched. I walked downstairs and sat down. I turned the tv on. "Great. News."

'Local teenager Henry Bowers has been missing for a week. If anyone knows his whereabouts, please message this number.' I switched the channel. Why did anyone wanna find him anyway. He was an asshole who deserved nothing more than the worst.

Could I just possibly be mad because he couldn't be with me? I part of understood why but in that moment I was mad and said everything I thought. As much as I hated Henry, it's not fair that he went missing. It's not fair on his dad either. His dad probably doesn't care actually.

I called the number. "Hello?"

"Hi. I saw Henry Bowers a week ago. He was going into the forest and that's the last anyone heard from him. He was in a bad mood so I don't know what happened cause he's weird when's he's in a bad mood."

"Okay. Hold on. Which forest exactly?"

"The one by the barrens, keep up."

"Yeah okay. Thanks a lot. Bye."

I put the phone down. There wasn't really anywhere else in Derry that they hadn't checked but the police here are shit at their job and I know that because Henry's dad is a policeman and he's a little abusive fuck too.

I called Victor and Belch. I asked them if they wanted to look by ourselves and they agreed. Victor probably missed Patrick the most since they had been close friends before me and Henry were. Belch also missed him because Henry was there when Belch was getting bullied in school.

I climbed over the seat. "What's up pattycakes?" Victor said as he smacked my ass.

"Nothing much Viccy. Since school was out and Henry's not here I've been bored out of my socks."

"Same old?"

"Same old. Anyway what about you Belch?"

"My mom wouldn't let me out because of the missing thing so I had to sneak out."

"Yeah. My parents are away again."

The rest of the journey was quiet. I was thinking about where Henry could be. I mean the forest was relatively small and the only other place he could be is dead on the kissing bridge.

We climbed out of the car. "We gonna split up?"

"Yeah I think it's best to."

"Mkk." Belch sighed and walked in one direction, Victor walked another. I guess I had the barrens sewer drain. Let's not get stuck this time.

I looked around the water and he wasn't there. I hadn't checked in the water yet but I didnt want to. The last thing I wanted was to see Henry dead in the water.

I hesitantly looked into the water. I walked inside it and looked around.

As I was about to take a step. I tripped over something quite big. I looked at what it was, Henry.

"GUYS I FOUND HIM!" I shouted.

I picked him up and dragged him out the water. He was still breathing but not greatly. He must've been in here for an hour or so then.

Victor and Belch came running over. "What do we do?!"

"Take him to the hospital smartass." I picked Henry up and chucked him over my shoulder.

We got in the car and I rested him on my lap. His normally greased back hair was now wet and messy. I done him a favour and styled it the way he normally would. I tried my best.

We walked inside the hospital. "Oh dear." The doctor said before calling someone.

They took Henry to another room to do all types of shit to wake him up. Victor was asleep on Belch's shoulder and I was asleep on Victor's shoulder. What would I say to Henry when he woke up. If he woke up.
