Lady Dimitrescu's Little One

chapter 14

Helene POV

I woke up and looked around, my head tilting in confusion as I looked around mama's room, I didn't sleep in mama's room for nap.... How did I come here

My thoughts were interrupted by movement on the edge of the bed making me look up and rub my eyes tiredly, cassandra was sitting at the edge of the bed looking at me with a small smile

"Mother had to attend a call, she left me here in case you woke up" She replied in a soft tone, making me barely give her a small nod still too sleepy to understand or comprehend anything

"Mama nu luv me" I whispered softly, my eyes watering up again as I remembered what happened in the library, and mama not wanting to play with me

"What? Baby sister I'm sure you have been mistaken mother absolutely adores you and she would do anything for you, Mother Miranda just has her doing some work at the moment so she's a little busy but I can assure you she still loves you very much" Cassandra tried to explain to me, making me once again give a small nod to her nothing more

"Cassandra is absolutely right, mother may be busy at times but she always makes time to spend some time with us and make sure we are all okay, just like she did to make sure you were tucked in to bed for your nap in time" Bela spoke from the door making me jump in surprise for a moment but nod again

I was too sleepy to talk at the moment but I understand what they were trying to explain to me.... It still didn't make me feel all better though, because there was this nagging feeling in my chest a small whisper that kept saying that mama won't love me anymore and she would give me away

"Come on you two, mother has sent me to get you two for snack time since we had early lunch and it's still quite a while since dinner, our sister needs to eat something"

Cassandra got up from the bed, her hands outstretched for me to grab on to, I simply shook my head and raised my arms at her, I was too sleepy and emotional to walk right now

"Sure baby sister, I got you" Cassandra whispered softly and scooped me up, making me smile a little as she held me carefully while making her way down the library

Bela would occasionally point at a painting making me look at it in awe and rest my head on Cassandra's shoulder enjoying looking at all the beautiful portraits all along the hallway

"We are here mother" Bela spoke softly once we entered the library, closing the door behind us and walking closer to mama

Mama was sitting in her usual chair near the fire and two small bowls were placed on the table in front of her

"Hi baby girl, did you sleep good?" Mama cooed softly at me, making me blush for a moment and nod before I tucked my head in Cassandra's neck

I felt myself being picked up by much larger hands and being cradled gently in mama's arms, her arms rocking me slowly

"Shhhh it's okay mama's here now" Mama whispered softly, sitting back down with me in her arms and I happily snuggled into her chest soaking in her smell and warm feeling

Lady Dimitrescu POV

I don't know how may times I will need to say it, but my baby is absolutely adorable, she's the cutest thing I've ever seen and that's saying a lot considering how many years I've been living for

"Did you have a nice sleep bug?" I asked softly watching as she snuggled into me, her tiny hands coming to clutch my dress and she looked up at me with those big blue eyes of hers

"Mama meanie" She whispered making me furrow my brows in confusion but barely having any time at all to react to to as she did a quick 180 and hid herself in my chest

"How was mama mean to you baby girl? Hmm?" I asked softly looking up at my other daughter's in hopes that they would have some answers and based on the look on bela and Cassandra's faces they had an idea on what was going on

"Mama nu wan pway wif me" She mumbled after a few seconds making me smile softly at the little thing nuzzled in my arms and rub her head slowly, so my little one was feeling a little attention deprived

"Mama was a kinda busy with some work that mother Miranda had given me, i'm sorry i couldn't play" I whispered softly kissing her head and hugging her closer

"Mama luv me?" She asked softly, her voice barely above whisper, the uncertainty in her tone however pulled at my heart strings hard

"Honey mama may be busy at times, and sometimes maybe mama can't be there but that doesn't mean I don't love you sweet girl, I love all my girl with everything I have in my heart if I even have one, and you are all very precious to me, mama loves you a lot baby girl"

Finally deciding to come out of her little hidey hole she looked up with a small grin on her face and kissed my chin softly being the only place she could reach at the moment "me luv mama too" She said with a happy grin

So this is the second last chapter, the next chapter is going to be the last one, and this book will be finished

I know many of you are sad to see this book come to an end.... But I will be publishing a new book real soon after this one ends and I hope if you all find it interesting you'll give it a read

The plot that I have decided on is two vampire mafia/queens stumble across a little either on business or official work (I need to think more about that once I decide if it's going to be queens or mafias) it's going to be another one of my AU books, based in a vampire kingdom living along side the human kind and regression will be known and accepted by all

Another thing that I would like to say is please dont comment 'please update' on my chapters, there is absolutely nothing with commenting things like you're looking forward for the next chapter or can't wait for the next chapter.  But commenting 'please update' just makes me feel like I'm not doing enough as an author... Anyone who has been reading my books knows that I typically have an update schedule that I follow unless something happens in my life that makes me unable to write an publish a chapter that week...  Keeping that in mind, I absolutely love each and every one of your comments!
