Secrets and Misunderstandings

3rd Pov:

It was a quiet day in the barony, the blue sky was decorated with clouds of different shapes and sizes, the birds are chirping, it was a peaceful atmosphere with the occasional swords of the Knight's clashing together because they're in the middle of training.

Everything happening outside contrast the chaos inside the house of Baron Frontera.
Whispering of maids can be heard on the hallways, talking about a certain couple and a baby.

In the living room, Baron Frontera and his wife is seen sitting across their son, Lloyd and his lover Javier.  Because of the uncomfortable silence and tense atmosphere
Mirabella decided to say something.
"Lloyd, why didn't you tell us about... This" she asked while looking at the baby in Lloyd's arms.
"Wait I can explai-"

*Slam*
Lloyd was cut off by his father who slammed his fist into the table.
"What were you thinking going on adventures while being pregnant?!" He screamed
"WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" Lloyd asked (screamed) and stood up, obvious dumbfounded by what his father said. Him? Pregnant?? Is that even possible here? He thought they were gonna confront him and Javier for adopting a baby but them thinking he got pregnant? That's ridiculous.

Lloyd took a deep breath and sat down on the sofa. Javier patted his back as a way to comfort his lover. He looked at the couple with a serious expression "Alright, let's all calm down first, and let us explain the situation"

~Flashback~
It was getting dark and the people are entering their houses to avoid the dangers lurking in the dark. Lloyd Frontera was walking home after looking at his projects, Javier was walk by his side, holding his hand, he isn't embarrassed to show this to the public since they already know about the two's relationship. Suddenly, Lloyd stops in his tracks, "Do you hear that?" He asked, Javier kept silent and tried to listen, then he heard it, it sounded like an infant crying.
"Let's go check it out" Lloyd said as he started walking to the direction of the sound, Javier following him still holding his hand but the other hand is now holding his sword in case it was a trap.

The closer went into the alley the louder the cries sounded when they got there they saw a small infant wrapped in fabric and placed on a blanket with a note that said
'If you find my son you can do what you want with him, he's just another useless trash and another baggage to feed. I didn't name him because I know I won't be keeping him

Javier crumpled the paper and threw it in the trash "what kind of terrible human being would abandon their child..." He said looking at the baby in pity, Lloyd went closer and cradled the baby in his arms "Let's bring him back to the mansion" He said and started walking away.

"Wait so you're telling me that you weren't pregnant?" Asked Mirabella looking at her son.
"For the 3rd time no, I'm not and I wasn't pregnant in the first place" He said while looking straight in her eyes. "Then why does that baby look like you and Javier?" Baron Frontera asked, still suspicious of the child's origins
"Hah?" Was Lloyd's only reply
"I think he's talking about how the bwby has blue hair like mine and the color of your eyes" Javier said to Lloyd "Oh that? That's the reason he was mistaken as our child??" Lloyd asked giving the child a closer look "well.... He does have some similarities to us" He said smiling fondly at the baby like it was his own, the baby only smiled and raised it's hands to touch Lloyd's face, meanwhile Javier was looking at Lloyd with a slight blush tinting his cheeks and the couple looking at their son, shocked to see such a fond expression on his face.

Lloyd raised his head and looked at his parents, his fond look now replaced with a serious one. The two only looked at Lloyd, waiting for him to say something. "Father, Mother, if it isn't too much to ask, can I adopt this baby, Me and Javier will raise him with care so please, Give me this opportunity to raise him" He said while shaking with nervousness but he kept his composure, Javier stood up and kneeled in front of the two with his head down "I vow to protect them with everything I have and until the day I'll breathe my last breath" He said, Baron Frontera sighed and looked at his wife who only nodded "Fine, you may keep the child" Lloyd and Javier smiled with happiness "Does he have a name?" Asked Lloyd's mother "Yes, me and Javier already discussed about this and decided to go with  Dillon, Dillon Frontera".

Baron Frontera stood up and looked at the child, "Well then, Dillon, welcome to the Frontera family" He said as the baby smiled at him and raised his hand "I think he wants you to hold him" Mirabella said and giggled looking at the Dillon, Baron Frontera walked to Lloyd "May I?" He asked, Lloyd beamed at this "Of course!" He exclaimed at carefully gave Dillon to his father, who smiled just enough for the people nearby to notice.
