Highschool Au ( Lo'ak, Kiri, Neteyam)

First day

I woke up to hear my alarm go off like crazy, I hit it effortlessly. It continued to go off which annoyed me so I just got up and turned it off, I yawned and got out of bed. I did my regular things brushing my teeth, putting my beads on my braids and picking out my outfit. It was about 7:45  we weren't late but we needed to get a move on, I walked out my  room going to Lo'ak's. " Wake up idiot!" I said throwing a pillow that was on the floor, " GET OUT!" He yelled slightly looking up at me.

 " Ok" I said shrugging, I walked down the stairs and told mom what he had said. All I heard was yelling and Lo'ak crying after she went up there, I laughed quietly eating frosted flakes. I saw kiri walk out the bathroom, I glanced at her crystal bracelets and her sage green backpack. " New backpack again?" I asked " Of course! " she said sitting down on the stool next to me, I scrolled on facebook looking at the corny pictures mom posted. I sighed in embarrassment, " what's wrong?" Kiri said instigating. " Look at this!" I said turning the phone to her, she choked on her water laughing. " It's not funny.." I said, " Oh but it iss!" she mocked. 

we turned around on the stools to see Lo'ak being tugged on by mom. His eyes were red and puffy, " Don't ask!" he snapped at me and kiri. " SIT DOWN LO'AK AND EAT" mom said pointing to the third stool, he mumbled something under his breath and sat down. Me and Kiri turned to each other making eye contact which broke out as a laugh, dad came downstairs with tuk and a coffee in his hand. " What happen?" he asked looking at Lo'ak and back to mom, " Look what I found on his dresser" she said holding up a vape pen.  Lo'ak looked down slurping his cereal milk trying to not make eye contact with either of them,  " What is that?" he asked. " He told me it's toothpaste but I don't believe that so I'm going to look it up later" she said, I choked on air after she said those first words. " Toothpaste? really Lo'ak" Kiri said, " leave me alone"

" Ok guys come on we need to get a move on!" Mom snapped at us all. Lo'ak quickly slurped the rest of his cereal milk and wiped his mouth, I looked at him disgusted. I grabbed my backpack that was hanging on the rack, I waited for Lo'ak and kiri at the front door. I pushed Lo'ak out the door and followed behind closing it, I grabbed my keys and unlocked my car. It was dads old car so It was pretty beaten up. " You need a new car dude it smells in here" " Because your in it" Kiri jumped in, " Whatever" Lo'ak added. I started the car and drove to the school, I looked in the mirror to see Lo'ak pull out a vape pen from his backpack. " Didn't you already get in trouble for this?" I asked looking at him through the mirror, " No?" " Yeah ok.." I said rolling my eyes. 

We finally made it to the school before it actually started. We parked and got out, " Okay guys this is it our new school!" I said wrapping my arms around their necks. Kiri let out a sigh, she wasn't always happy about school. She would get picked on  a lot which is why we moved schools, we walked into the school and walked to the main office. " Hello I'm Neteyam, this is Lo'ak and Kiri" I said looking at them both. " Oh hello you must be the new kids, I'm Tonowari the school counselor. " Oh hello sir" I said reaching my hand out for him to shake, He shook it.. but aggressively.  I took my hand back and starting rubbing it, " Ok dude can we just get our sheets to know what classes we have?" Lo'ak said nudging in front of me. " Oh yes of course! let me see.." He handed us our sheets and we walked out the office, " I have social studies first period" Kiri said sighing once again. " COOL!" Lo'ak yelled out, he was so loud that it echoed through the hallway. " Shut up" Kiri said, " I have computer science first period" " ME TOO!" He yelled once again. I punched him in his arm, " Ow.." He said rubbing it. " Ok we better get going to the classes I'll see you lunch time" Kiri said walking toward the stairs, I agreed and walked to my class as Lo'ak followed behind me.
