I woke up bright and early, as the oldest son I have chores to do and kids to feed. I headed to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I picked out a plain outfit jogger pants and a grey shirt, I woke up Tuk then Kiri then Lo'ak. I threw another pillow at him " GET OUT" he yelled throwing another pillow, I laughed and shut the door before the pillow could hit me. I headed down stairs picking up Lo'ak's shoes and Tuk's toys, of couse.. " morning dad morning ma" I said placing a kiss to my mother cheek while heading to the fridge. " Morning neteyam, did you wake your siblings?" she asked fixing breakfast, " Yes I think Lo'ak is up" I said grabbing the eggs for her. " Ok great" I cracked the eggs into a bowl and mixed it up with salt and pepper, and a little bit of almond milk. I poured them into the hot pan making sure they were cooking right, " Morning " Kiri said grabbing her water bottle off the counter. She was followed back by Lo'ak and Tuk fighting about something stupid again. " Boy stop fighting with a 7 year old" dad said sitting on the couch watching the news? " whatever" lo'ak replied back rolling his eyes. ( so sassy 😭) I couldn't help but laugh at the situation, he glanced back at me annoyed and turned his attention to the door as it rung once again. He walked to the door and opened it, it was miles AGAIN . " What does he want now?" kiri asked with an attitude " I don't know?" Lo'ak replied " Hey bro what's up?" " Oh nothing just wanted to see if I could hang with you guys today, " Umm.." Lo'ak looked back into the house for an excuse from one of us. I looked back and shrugged my shoulders looking at kiri who did the same, " We can't we have to watch our.. sister" he said shaking his head up and down. Miles nodded and headed back to his house, I sighed in relief and added the eggs to 4 plates. Mom came in and added pancakes and fruit, I helped her put the plates on the table. " Come eat" I demanded to the others, everyone sat down and said grace. Kiri ate salad and fruits for breakfast be she refused to eat eggs even though she said she just wouldn't eat meat. After we got done eating breakfast me and kiri washed the plates off and cleaned the table, Dad assigned us to go get groceries. " LO'AK, TUK COME ON" I yelled from down the stairs, Tuk quickly ran down the stairs in her princess slippers and dress. " Tuk your not wearing that " I reassured, " why?" " because I said so" " but why?" she asked once again " just never mind" I said. Lo'ak finally came downstairs and we headed into my car, " where are we going now" lo'ak whined. " To the store idiot" kiri chimed in saying. " Nobody asked you.." Lo'ak mumbled, I parked in the parking lot of Walmart and we got out. " Tuk come" kiri demanded holding her hand, we walked into the store and grabbed a shopping cart. I picked up tuk and placed her into the shopping cart, Lo'ak pushed me aside and pushed the cart making it go fast as he held onto the handle with his feet in the air. He crashed into a self which made him and tuk fall, " OH MY GOD" kiri yelled out running toward the cart. I followed up behind her " are you stupid or stupid?" she asked picking the cart up and helping tuk on her knees. " both" I added in chuckling, " That was fun wasn't it tuk?" " YEAH" she echoed in the huge store. " okay enough we need to follow the shopping list" I said grabbing the cart and pushing it to the fruit section. I grabbed the list out my jogger pants pocket and looked at the fruits listed, " We need apples, blueberry , and blackberry and some bananas " I listed out saying to Kiri who grabbed them placing them in front of tuk who sat in the cart. " Ok now we need to get squash, tomatoes, and potatoes " I listed out once again, " Aren't tomatoes fruits?" Lo'ak pointed out " Wow you are actually smart" Kiri commented holding the tomatoes putting them into a bag. " Shut up" he responded back, " Take this Lo'ak" she said shoving a squash into his arms. " bro" he said holding the squash, we moved on to the bread aisle. " Get that white bread and get two packs" I demanded to Lo'ak pointing to the bread, he grabbed the bread and threw it into the cart. " YOUR GOING TO SQUISH IT" I yelled hitting his arm, " ow!" he yelled back. I ignored his pain and pushed the shopping cart to the dairy section. I grabbed almond milk and coffee creamer for dad which was on the list, we headed to snacks because Lo'ak just begged to go. He grabbed a handful of takis and jolly ranchers, " ok lets go" he said placing the snacks into the cart. " WAIT TOYS PLEASE!" tuk yelled out, I sighed and pushed the cart to the toy aisle, she jumped out the cart and ran to the lol dolls. I turned my attention to lo'ak who was climbing into the ball pit full of bouncy balls. " LO'AK" I yelled looking up at him, " GET DOWN" kiri grabbed her phone and took pictures and laughed while I just yelled at him to get down. He finally got down and laughed, " Did I do good?" He asked. " Heck yeah that's going to give me followers on instagram " kiri laughed. " Oh my god we need to get a move on.. HURRY UP TUK" I yelled at her, she rushed back to the cart with 8 lol doll packets. " No tuk put 5 back" I demanded to her, she sighed and rolled her eyes slumping back to the lol doll aisle. She came back with 3 and dumped them into the cart, Lo'ak held her hand as we walked to self check out. I checked all the stuff out with the card dad gave us, I shoved some bags into lo'ak's and Kiri's arms. I held Tuk's hand as we walked out and crossed the road, I put the bags into the trunk and got in the car driving out the parking lot. " Can we go to a gas station " " I don't have any money for you to buy more snacks Lo'ak" I said looking in the mirror as he talked. " I have my own money from doing chores" he said smiling, I nodded and headed to the gas station across the street from Walmart. He came back in with a Blueberry ice vape, " Back" He said holding the vape pen up in the air, " Isn't that the one mom took from you?" I asked " Yes which is why I did chores to buy another one" he chucked saying. I shook my head in disappointment and headed back to the house. I took my shoes off sliding my slippers on my feet, I put the bags on the counter and took all the stuff out. I handed Tuk her toys and threw all the bags away, I cooked a grilled cheese sandwich and read a book called. " How to get away from my children " it had great advice, after my little break I swept the floor, mopped it. Then I mowed the lawn. Another 30$ in my bank account, in total I had 2k. From all the chores I did, I put my money in my secret safe away from Lo'ak. I made my bed and cleaned the bathroom up with Kiri's help, after that I listened to some of my music on my vinyl.
