"Hey Abby do you think we should go to the Nether so we can go to the End?" Amelia asked, waking me up from my sleep. "Yes. Maybe then we can get out of here." I responded. "I hope the ender dragon is even there. Anyways, I'll pack the bags while you make the portal ok?" Amelia asked. "Ok." I responded, desperately hoping that the dragon would be waiting for us when we got there, which sounds odd...

Our bags were packed full of food and weapons. We said our goodbyes to the dogs and left them with plenty of food and water. We stepped through the portal.

"Oof." I whimpered when I landed on the cold red netherrack. Amelia and I got up and started looking for a Nether fortress. (There you can find blaze rods which are needed to make eyes of ender which is how you get to the end.) Eventually, we found a Nether fortress and took out all the blazes for their blaze rods. (A/n hehe magic wands meowingmolly ) We had already gotten tons of ender pearls last night so we could finally leave this hell that was the Nether.

We stumbled out of the portal and into the bright daylight. We sprinted into the house since the sun was setting. "Abby let's start making the eyes of ender!" Amelia excitedly said. So we stayed up all night making eyes of ender.

*In the morning*
I woke up with an eye of ender stuck to my face. I groaned and peeled it off my face. I guess Amelia and I fell asleep while making them. I woke Amelia up and we finished making them. I packed our bags full of food and weapons. (For fighting the ender dragon.) We also made a few extra so we could find the stronghold. (Where the actual portal to the end is kept.)

We ran around goofing off and throwing the eyes of ender, trying to find the stronghold. Amelia finally found it and called me over. "Let's dig straight down here." She said. So we dug down with our shiny iron picks.

"Aaaah!!!" I screamed as we fell into the stronghold. I think we cracked the floor a little. "Ok, let's go left first." I said. We had landed on a path. "Ok." Amelia said and we were off, leaving a trail of torches behind us. After many hours of searching, and several snack breaks, we found the portal. We placed all the eyes of ender around the portal. It lit up and it was bright. "Ready?" Amelia asked. "Ready." I confirmed. We ran and jumped straight into the portal.

We landed on a square of obsidian. Luckily, there were walls of end stone that we could dig into. "Amelia, let's dig up to the dragon." I whispered. She nodded, and so we began our journey.

Once we reached the top of the staircase, I told Amelia to stay down and I peeked my head over the edge. I gasped- The ender dragon was there! I beckoned Amelia and we crept towards the dragon, our bows loaded. We crouched behind a rock, and without thinking we both started firing arrows at the ender dragon. It roared its terrible roar, and flew into the air where it knew we couldn't reach it. It flew around for a while, then went back to the same spot, regaining all the health it had just lost. Then I remembered! "Amelia we have to shoot the things on top of the towers so it can't regain health anymore." I whispered. "Ok." She said. We crazily started shooting the things on the towers, most of the time hitting our targets.

Once all the towers were destroyed, we again began to shoot the dragon. It flew away and came back and we shot it again so the whole process would repeat itself. After a long time, the dragon got extremely weak, so Amelia and I both pulled back the string on our bows, and fired directly at the dragon's head. Suddenly, fireworks went off in the gloomy world. The ender dragon fell to the floor, dropping tons of XP. Our portal had came back, but did it lead to the real world our back to Minecraft? We collected all the XP, took a deep breath and then leaving the dead dragon (and the egg) behind, jumped in the portal. Everything went black.
