I was hanging out with heather and her friends when I saw Anna looking at something.
I followed her gaze to see Dustin and Alex walking in.
I've had a crush on Dustin for like forever and heather even knows it.
"You should ask him to dance Y/n" heather said.
"I can't, what if he says no..?" I said my anxiety kicking in.
"He's not gonna say no to you Y/n he's liked your for like ever" heather said.
"I'll go with you if you want?" Anna said.
I thought about it for a moment.
"Okay come on" I said walking towards dustin and Alex.
"Hey Dustin" I said stopping in my tracks making Anna bump into me.
"Sup Y/n" he said turning my way.
"Hey Alex" Anna said.
I looked at her and then looked back to see heather looking at me.
"I was wondering if you wanted to dance with me..?" I said turning back to him.
"Hell yeah let's go ma" he said.
We intertwined our hands and started to walk off.
"Alex I was wondering if you wanted to dance?" I heard Anna say.
I turned around wide eyed.
"No" he said.
I turned back around and saw heather walking towards her with the rest.
I turned my attention back to Dustin as we stopped.
"Are you ready ma?" He asked as he put his hands on my waist and I put my hands around his neck.
I looked back to see heather and them breaking the news to Anna.
"Mami keep your eyes on me" he says and I looked back at him.
We swayed to the music of the song while keeping eye contact.
"You know, I've liked you for a long time" Dustin said.
That made my stomach turn.
"Really?" I asked looking at my feet.
"Yeah how could you not your literally beautiful." Dustin says.
A red color painted across my face.
"Your really cute when your embarrassed Yknow?" He says flashing his smile.
"Thank you" I said.
Dustin pulled my body closer to his as a huge flash goes off.
I turn to look and see that it's heather who took a picture of us with her camera.
"HEATHER" I yelled.
"What YALL are like so cute" she said taking the printed picture and shaking it.
"I'm definitely making more copies of it" she said handing me the picture she just took.
I look at it and smile.
"I'm gonna have to get one of those" Dustin said also looking at the picture.
"I'll make more when I get home." She said.
"Enjoy your night with your- boyfrienddddd" they all said in sync.
"We will" Dustin said looking at me.
As soon as heather and her friends walked away we started swaying again.
We made eye contact.
We started leaning closer.
Our lips touched and his grip on my waist tightened.
He pulled me closer and our kiss deepened.
Another flash went off and this time we didn't even care to see who it was.
We pulled away and hugged.
"Omg I love this picture even more!!" Heather said. I just looked at her and smiled.
This was a memorable night.
