LEXIES POV

I'm so excited to travel to California. I know it's October but we're going to San Francisco on Halloween. I love Halloween. It's also my first Halloween with April. She jolts then relaxes when she sees it's me. I rushed up to her spot in line so we could sit together. And start to stress about getting on this plane. I never forget being in the plane crash with Mer, Derek, Mark, and Arizona. I've been on planes since but they were commercial. This is the same kind of jet we took that day. We board and have chosen seats towards the back that face Alex and Jackson.

"Everyone shut the fuck up, I'm taking a nap." Alex spits out as he reclines his seat and curls up into a ball. Jackson laughs and shoots me a smirk. Jackson has liked me since he came to the hospital but I'm only interested is April. I turn to her to see if she picked up his smirk. She's slightly grimacing out of jealousy and I grab her hand to reassure her. I lay my head on her delicate shoulder and start to feel my eyes get heavy. It's 2 A.M so I decide catching some sleep wouldn't be bad. The flights only 2 and a half hours so a nap couldn't hurt.

I wake up to the plane shaking ferociously. I panic and lift my head up which April's head was laying on. She wakes up with me and attempts to calm me down.

"Lex it's ok." She says repeatedly while stroking my face with her fingers. The turbulence settles out while April is wiping back my tears. She smiles at me and my stomach flutters at the sight. She pats her shoulder, inviting me to lay my head back down. I slowly lower my head and feel the weight of her head top mine. My eyes fall heavy and I fall asleep in the warmth of Aprils neck.

We're shaken awake my Mer's cold hand as she try's to get us up.

"C'mon we gotta check into the hotel." April rises from her seat and stretches so I can catch a view of her midriff. She puts her arms down and waits for me to get up with her.

"Alex get up I swear I'm gonna" Mer groans as she violently shakes him awake. April smirks at me and we begin walking off the plane.

"We're the doctors from Seattle Grace Mercy West. May we have our room keys?" Derek asks the tall blonde woman working the front desk. She hands him a stack of thin ids with room numbers printed on them. "Three rooms with queen sized beds and two connected rooms with two queens in each. Pick amongst yourselves." He says as he sprawls them across the front desk and grabs one queen bed room and Meredith's hand. Cristina and Owen grab another and Callie and Arizona grab the last. Alex and Jackson look at each other and sigh, realizing they have to share a room. Everyone begins walking to their rooms and April interlocks fingers with me as I grab our room key.

When we finally arrive in our room I drop down onto the first bed and start to fall asleep.

APRILS POV

We've arrived in the hotel room Lexie and I are sharing and she's already halfway passed out on the bed. I smile at my woman and start undressing to use the shower in our bathroom.

I remove my long sleeved green top and my tight blue jeans without a sound from Lexie. I decide to mess with her and unhook my lacy red bra and throw it at her. It lands in the crook of her neck and she slightly groans and flips over onto her back. I slip off the tiny matching red thong and toss it at her like I'm playing a carnival game. The thong lands directly on her face and slightly in her mouth.

She sits up, angry she has been woken up until she sees what has fallen into her lap. She starts to turn around as I slip into the bathroom and turn the shower handle to the left. She appears at the door and grazes at my naked body.

Without a second to spare, she rips off the purple blouse and tight blue jeans and throws the boots she was wearing across the bathroom.
