“Mortals are so weak.” Xiao once again complained about Humans being weak, while watching Traveler who fell asleep on a Tree together with Kazuha.
Why did he even come here? Oh, right, Traveler called for him, asked for help. He really thought the Vigilant Yaksha was a good mentor. No matter how often he said, that he wasn’t and that Aether was talking stupid nonsense, the Traveler never changed his mind.
But was he really a good mentor when his so-called - Students fell asleep on a Tree after training for an Hour with him?
He thought about leaving them there and just vanishing but seeing those two Sleep like this, peacefully and happy. Somehow it felt good for the Adeptus to see such a quiet and happy moment, there weren’t many good or happy memories that he had and having a good memory like this couldn’t be so bad.
With a bit of distance he sat down in the tall grass, having his greenish spear resting next to him while watching Kazuha and Traveler.

“Xiao…” he heard Aether calling him with a sleepy and quiet voice. “Aether.” he answered as soon as he arrived next to the Blonde Guy and the still sleeping Kazuha, who also seemed to slowly wake up given the little noises he made before he let out a yawn. “Hmm…” came from the Man who just woke up a second ago, while Aether stood up and smiled at Xiao. Adorable. That’s what crossed the Adeptus Mind as he watched the Traveler smile at him, he had a pretty smile, it was adorable. It made him- He stopped his own thought and held himself back from shaking his Head a little to get rid of the thought.
“We should continue the training.” He lifted his right eyebrow a little and checked out Aether as he started to shake his Head a little and explain to him that they were done for today, since it was already dark.
“The Darkness doesn’t stop People from attacking y-” Kazuha stopped him from finishing his Sentence, knowing that whatever Xiao had to say was something both of them already knew, Mortals really were a thing for themselves.
As soon as Kazuha mentioned that he could stay the night over, he attempted to shake his head and refuse but… Maybe, it wasn’t such a bad Idea.
Most People that ever stayed around him for too long ended up dead yet it was worth a try, right? Kazuha and Aether were- Strong for mere Mortals.
“Okay.” was all he answered and followed both of them to the Place where they were currently staying. Kazuha usually stayed with Beidou and her Crew on her Ship but at the moment he and Traveler were living in a small House, where they trained each day and spent time together. It was quite nice he had to admit as soon as they arrived and entered it.
It was small, nothing big or interesting. A small Kitchen with a small table, a Bathroom with a Bathtub and a Bedroom with two Futons on the ground. They only had what they needed.
He was quite surprised that they got themselves a small House in Inazuma. Xiao heard about the Serentia Pot that the Traveler owned, but instead of using it they stayed in a small house.
Humans really are confusing.
While they were starting to make food for themselves and Xiao, he kept looking around as if he was waiting for someone to attack them or for something bad to happen. It was too peaceful, too happy for - someone like him.
Something just felt off. He just felt as if something was about to happen.
But he wasn’t sure what.

“Here for you, Almond Tofu the way you like it the most.”
With a little bit of suspicion he looked at the Plate that Aether handed him with a slight smile.
The way he liked it the most? How did Aether know of this, did he mention it and forgot about it? He usually never forgot things he said,
But- It really was the way he liked it the most, despite Almond Tofu being the only Mortal Food he ate Xiao indeed liked it the most when it was made in a specific way and those two managed to make it taste like a sweet dream on his tongue.
Kazuha was the first one to finish his Food. “I’ll head to bed.”
The Samurai gave The Traveler and The Adeptus a little smile while leaving the Kitchen.
It was a weird silence, before they both had talked a bit but now that Kazuha was gone- It was just the two of them eating their food, in… silence.
For Xiao it was less of a Problem then for Aether, neither of them were much of a Talker so neither of them managed to find a Topic.
