Opening Eyes

It was a krishnapaksha night, the night was clear without any clouds, the moon was a full moon. Wind was blowing slowly nothing was being able to be heard except the screams of a soon to be mother.After some time the sound faded and soft giggles of babies were the only sounds to be heard.

Nagkanya Marisha's POV

I was never to imagine that i will have twins, one giggling one crying.I was so tired i couldn't see their faces soon i heard the dasis said i had twin daughters. They showed me my daughters one was giggling ,one crying. Suddenly I heard Maharaj Shursen's voice . He was coming .... to meet his newborns.

Maharaj Shursen's POV

I could hear childish giggles & wails ..By the time I was too tensed because Marisha's wealth was not so good that she would be able to walk or move after the birth of my child.I couldn't imagine her unable to walk or move so I prayed to Bhagwan Vishnu.One of the Dasi was coming to me her face was full of glee , I hoped for the best !! She announced that she has given birth to twins . But my fear uprised after hearing that she had twins!! So i came hurriedly to her...

Author's POV

Nagkanya Marisha was one of the naagins of the Vasuki Clan.. Nagvanshi Aryank told Maharaj Shursen that when his beloved will bear babies , either she won't be able to walk or your child will suffer because of a terrible curse to the Vasuki Clan.

Maharaj Shursen reached his beloved room ..a pleasant sound was heard.

Nagkanya Marisha was singing them lorries .

Maharaj Shursen entered the room and saw that His beloved wife was totally fine it didn't even look like she gave birth to twins , she had no sign of tiredness in her , it was that Mata lakshmi was sitting instead of Marisha.

Marisha noticed her arya's presence in the room

Marisha – Arya! I have a great surprise for you

Maharaj Shursen – Priye ! Are you fine?

Marisha – yes i am totally fine.See here They are your kids, these are 2 twin daughters. How cute!What will you name them Arya?

Shursen took those 1 of the two in her .

Shursen – After you my queen ,But I want to know who is the eldest. They look totally indifferent

Marisha – That's because they are twins arya!

Shursen – Oh ! yeah i forgot about that

Suddenly A heavenly Voice Spoke:

O Maharaj Shursen ! Your eldest child is the mantraprasad of Lord Vishnu himself, She is the child who after her birth was cheerful , she will be a great archer , she will be the mother of 4 veer children by blood but 6 by heart. Your eldest one will be the Palm of a hand which is a symbol of balance , she will be Called Pritha!....

Shursen & marisha vowed to the heavenly voice!

Marisha – Pritha ! My daughter Pritha

Shursen – But what will be the name of my youngest one ? See she 's wanting a name for herself .. that 's why she is crying

Marisha – Umm ... I think...........We should call her Pratha which means custom , because she was born according to what a custom says that a baby if she/he doesn't cry after its birth is born dead.........And also because she will be the loved one of Pritha and also it kind of matches with her sister's name Pritha. Aww Pritha-Pratha

Suddenly Pratha stopped crying after receiving her name , she started playing with her feet

Shursen – Pritha-Pratha!

In Naglok

Every Naag and Naagin were celebrating , Suddenly Shesh Naag came

Shesh Naag - What's so auspicious today that i forgot today?

Naagraj Takshak - SheshNaag today our most lovable Pritha - Pratha have been born in martyalok

Shesh Naag - Oh yeah! How could I forget this...?I have to watch out now

Naagraj Takshak - Yes Shesh Naag you should from now on watch out for yourself because..

Shesh Naag - Jeez! Softly somebody would hear this , it would turn down my reputation

Anant Nag - No Shesh Naag it won't afterall your SheshNaag

Naagin (A) - Shesh Naag? Won't you go and see her.. I am going , you should also come

Shesh Naag - Yeah ! Let's go.

Shesh Naag & Naagin(A) took their snake form and went to Naglok

Back to Maharaj Shursen's Palace

 Shesh Naag & Naagin(A) came to the cot of Pritha and started seeing her

Suddenly Shursen entered the room, He was horrified seeing 2 snakes attacking his daughters, He called the guards , but was surprised to see that the 2 snakes went away...without biting his daughters..
