( Takeyama POV )

That's it. Looks like it's over.

I really need to return to my room after this. The headache is threatening to split my forehead open.

"Round 17 shall not commence. According to the rules, the number of Murderers is higher than the total number of remaining players in the game. The Murderers win. Total time taken to complete the Exam is one hour and fifty-one minutes."

The class remained silent.

I stared at Sakagami-sensei, asking for non-verbal approval. I received it in the form of a curt head-nod.

"Everyone may speak now."

Almost immediately, the class erupted into a frenzy. Having been quiet for so long, everyone was almost screaming.

"Calm down," I said, and the class turned to listen to me. "You all can discuss as much as you like after the formalities are done. The MVP of the Exam will be decided later, and will involve a collective decision of the Board and teachers alike. This recording here will be thoroughly gone through for making said decision."

The class seemed quiet, and did not vocalize their thoughts or opinions. Besides, it's not like they were in control of anything here anyways.

I let out a sigh, and rubbed my temples feverishly. My mouth has been dry for quite some time as well, and even the drinking water was not helping.

I must get back. I feel sick.

"Thank you, Takeyama," Sakagami-sensei said. "I think you must turn in the recording to me now, and report to the Student Council."

"Yes sensei."

I slowly handed over the recording to the teacher, and I bowed, before leaving the class for good. I walked ahead, feeling a bit light-headed.

No. I don't have the energy to go to the Student Council now. I need to return to my room.

With small but speedy steps, I stumbled out of the building. I made my way to the dormitories. The pain was getting worse, and my eyes started to hurt a bit too.

Get to the room, I told myself. At least get to the room.

I proceeded to stumble into the lobby of our dormitory building. The elevator was on the fourth floor, my floor.

I can't walk up the stairs. I need the elevator, even if I have to wait for it.

I pressed the button and rested my head against the wall, taking in deep breath-ins, and breath-outs.

Close your eyes, I told myself. It's temporary. You're overworked, that's all. A bit of bedrest will be enough.

The elevator arrived. I ushered myself in, and banged on the fourth floor button. The elevator lurched upwards, and that did not do well with my already hurting body.

Oh god, elevator was not a good idea.

Four floors felt like forty. As soon the doors opened, a burst of fresh wind blew in, and gave me a second of temporary relief. I walked out, and turned right.

My room.

And a visitor.

"Kei-chan!" Chiaki squealed. "Perfect timing! I was just about to call you! You ready for our date?"

Not now, Chiaki.

I walked uncomfortably, and rested my shoulder against the wall next to my door, and fiddled with the lock. Chiaki, being a girl with good instincts, immediately understood that there was something off.
