[Birlings let out an unholy scream]

GOOLE: No need to fear me, Mr Birling.

GERALD: Get out of this house. You are not a real inspector. You have no authority here. How did you even get in?

EVA: [moves to get a closer look at Goole] No. It can't be.

GOOLE: It is.

EVA: [runs to hug Goole] Father. Oh, I can't believe it. How are you here? You died!

GOOLE: I am still dead Eva. I am a ghost.

BIRLING: I don't understand, why did you visit us? It wasn't your daughter that died.

GOOLE: No, you are correct. But what did happen was a girl who was very similar to my daughter died. I watched you all mistreat my daughter and decided to teach you a lesson in socialism.

COLE: You are impersonating an officer sir. That is reason for arrest.

GOOLE: You think you could arrest me? You mewling quim. I have powers beyond your belief.

COLE: I apologise, sir.

SHEILA: Inspector Goole? Can I just say, you have changed my life for the better. It's a pleasure to meet the father of the love of my life.

GOOLE: It is an honour to have you as my future daughter-in-law, Sheila.

GERALD: Why did you return? You could have stayed away!

GOOLE: I wanted to see my daughter and I wanted to come back to teach you all more socialism. More specifically Marxism. Have you read the communist manifesto? I doubt it. Anyway, I want to share my favourite quote. What the bourgeoisie, therefore, produces, above all, is its own grave-diggers. Its fall and the victory of the proletariat are equally inevitable ~ The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Freidrich Engels.

SHEILA: Good heavens, that was a phenomenal quote.

GOOLE: Wasn't it just?

EVA: Father, can you stay on this Earth?

GOOLE: Not for long. I can keep coming back but only stay for small periods of times.

EVA: Will you keep coming back?

GOOLE: I will try, daughter. I want to discuss the relationships going on between you all. What's going on there?

COLE: I want to be Gerald's boyfriend. Yet I must confess, I find Eric attractive.

ERIC: [gasps] I want to be yours.

GERALD: We could be a throuple? That way I am always satisfied and we all get to be together.

COLE: Yes! Yes. I love you, Gerry Berry and Erry Werry.

ERIC: I love you Ger and Cole.

[The three group together and start taking it in turns to make out]

GOOLE: [coughs] Anyway. What is going on with the rest of you?

BIRLING: Sybil, my love, take me back.

SYBIL: In a heartbeat.

GOOLE: Sheila. Take good care of my daughter.

SHEILA: I will, I promise. To prove so, [Sheila pulls out a ring box and kneels on the ground] Eva darling, I will love you for all eternity. Will you marry me?

EVA: YES! YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!

[Sheila slips the ring on Eva's finger and raises to kiss her. She kneels down and kisses her baby bump]

GOOLE: Goodbye for now, take care.

[Goole highfives Cole]

COLE: Wait. You -

GOOLE: Yes. I am your father.

COLE: DADDY!!!! [he runs and hugs Goole]

GOOLE: Take care of your sister.

[Goole fades and the curtains close]
