Iris Meeks-Martin was standing in her Satine costume like a singer hearing her first song on the radio. She stared at Amber Freeman in her Cat-woman costume. She always stared at people, but not like this. Amber was Iris's closest friend. She walked up to Amber and her friends Sam, Tara, and Sams boyfriend Danny along with her brother Chad and her sister Mindy. "Could I hang out with you guys? My date ditched me." Iris complained. "Of course!" Answered Tara.
After a couple drinks at a nearby bar, They walked for a couple minutes until they got to Iris, Chad, and Mindy's house. They walked in while Iris's mother was in her bed, passed out. "Dang, mom must have been real tired to pass out like that." Chad said. "Long shift. She told me this morning." Added Mindy. "So what are we gonna do?" asked Amber. "CAN WE WATCH STAB?!?!?" Squealed Tara and Iris together. "You know that movie scares me." Said Sam glumly. "Don't be such a scaredy cat." Said Amber. "Before we start..I made us assigned seats because of what happened last time where everyone was moving around." Said Mindy. "What are we kindergarteners?" Asked Amber sarcastically.
"Anyway. On this side will be Chad and Tara." Mindy said with a smirk. Tara and Chad looked at each other with happiness. "On the other side is Sam and Danny because.. yes." Sam and Danny looked at each other. "And then Iris and Amber. I'm by myself." Iris looked at Amber with love in her eyes.
A couple minutes later they started Stab. An hour into the movie Iris became tired. She fell asleep and her head fell on Amber's shoulder. Amber looked down at Iris and laid her head on top of Iris's. They fell asleep.
The next morning at 9:53 Iris woke up to her head on Amber's chest. "Good morning sunshine." Whispered Amber. "Is anyone else awake?" Asked Iris. "No." Replied Amber. "Why did you...not push me off of you?" asked Iris quietly. "I love you idiot." said Amber happily. Iris faced Ambers face and slowly got closer. They kissed.
Once everyone woke up they all headed to school. Once they got there they separated. Iris and Amber had the same class so they walked together. People in the hallway snickered as they walked by. One yelled, "LOOK ITS THE GAYS!" Amber got a notification on her phone and opened it. It read,
