The sound of bubbles reached Cleo's ear waking her for a new day. Normally Cleo would lye in her shell until 1:00 ,but this time she sprang right up! " It's my birthday!" She yelled so loud that she woke up her pet seahorse "Kelpy" . " Come on Kelpy it's my big day! Today I'm about to ask Merlea to go find my parents!" She said smiling her biggest smile. " Bloop!" Kelpy said. Cleo even bigger as she was on her way to mark off the day on her calendar. She quikly got dressed in her favorite outfit and raced downstairs for breakfast, but what Cleo didn't think of, was if Merlea was going to let her go or not, Cleo just assumed she would let her. When Cleo finished getting dressed in her closet, she stepped out of her closet and saw Merlea holding a tray full of scrambled fish eggs, seaweed rolls, a pop tart with sea berry jam, and a bubble of my favorite sea berry juice. "Happy Birthday!" Merlea shouted. " Thanks so much Merlea! This looks so goo.." Cleo called but stopped halfway through good. Kelpy began gobbling up my breakfast. We both laughed. Cleo started to ask Merlea if she could go to find her parents. " It's your birthday, and I guess you could go but promise me one thing" Merlea sighed. " Anything" Cleo said curious of what she was going to say. " When you do find your parents make sure to come back and say goodbye before you leave" Merlea replied. " Well of course" Cleo said. Cleo began packing a glow fish , 4 different outfits, 3 water bubbles, and a seaweed rope. After she said goodbye to Merlea she was off.
