" how did you get here?" Zack asked Cleo. " I found her fainted near shore, and since my snout is kinda off, I thought she was wolf blood" Claudia answered for Cleo. Cleo told them that she should get goi..BOOM thunder broke the end of her sentence. " Well I guess you'll be staying here for a bit" Claudia said. Cleo asked if they have seen any other merfolk before, and they answered but an answer that Cleo did not expect. " Yeah, Clau remember when we were kids? These merfolk people came to our house sick and mom and dad helped them, until they left" Zack explained, though in Cleo's mind, he spoke in slow motion. " Ya but then they left and promised they would come back but they never did" Claudia added. " Do you happen to remember those peoples names?" Cleo asked. "Well I think the woman's name was Makeo, wait no Makenia" Claudia said trying to help. " Perhaps was it Makolia?, that's my mother's name" Cleo said. " Yes!That's her name!" Zack said recognizing that name. Cleo asked Zack and Claudia for a map so she could see where to look. Zack handed Cleo a map and Cleo ran her finger across the map. Suddenly when Cleo's finger slipped off the map, she began to see her mother in a flashback, singing her a lullaby so she would fall asleep on the rock. Just then Cleo remembered the lyrics of the song, and began to sing " First three steps! Twice to the left, three more steps, a locket that I kept". Zack and Claudia stared at me, and there was silence and awkwardness for 30 seconds. Finally Claudia spoke up, and said " I hope you don't mind me asking but, why did you randomly start singing?".
