"Xephos?" I gasped. "Hi, um."
He looked awkward and nervous. "Hi, um. I just wanted to er- say happy birthday and stuff."
"Oh okay! Thank you." I smiled. "You didn't have to come by the house! I did get your message."
He blushed and stared at the floor. "Um well that's not the only reason I came. I need to um, ask you a favour." He stuttered.
"Okay." I replied in a questioning tone, my heart racing.
"Well- um." He paused. "The thing is, er I, just needed to ask, a favour. Well, not really a favour. More of a request, or a question, but sort of a favour." He was stuttering, and pausing so I prompted him.
"Okay, spit it out!" I laughed nervously.
"Well, um." He started to speak, then sighed. "Oh, fuck it." He stepped into the the doorway and kissed me passionately, his hands brushing through my hair.
I kissed him back, smiling. My heart had stopped, everything had stopped. All I could focus on was Xephos. He finally pulled away, as I gasped for breath.
"I love you." He said, his deep blue eyes glistening.
"I love you too."
