[Y/n] is lying on his couch, feeling absolutely terrible. His nose is running, his head is splitting, and he can barely think straight. His phone buzzes, and he looks down at it.
Silver: Just saw the schedule change
Silver: Why'd you cancel the stream? Is everything okay?
[Y/n]: I'm sick
[Y/n]: Feel like shit
Silver: Oh no!
Silver: Want me to come over?
[Y/n]: You don't have to
[Y/n]: Don't worry about me, I'll be fine
[Y/n]: Besides, I don't want you to get sick
Silver: I'm really good at ignoring people, so I'm gonna do that now
Silver: Be there in the minutes
He sighs before smiling. It's been one month since the two met each other, and [Y/n] can't get her out of his head. It confuses him. He's never had someone on his mind this much, not in this way. The very thought of her makes him smile, something he doesn't do all too often. Even his chat has noticed that, since meeting her, he's been happier. His family has asked him about it, and he's given basic responses regarding it, but he hasn't been able to fully figure out why he has been this way himself.
In what feels like no time at all, as he sits and thinks about his time with Silver, smiling all the while, a knock sounds from his door. He weakly gets up, his current reality striking him again all at once. He goes to the door and opens it, revealing Silver. She immediately recoils upon seeing his pale face and darkened eyes. His exhaustion is obvious to her.
"Uh, hello," she says, still in shock, "You... don't look too good."
"Yeah, no, I feel just as bad as I'm sure I look," he responds.
"Have you eaten anything?"
"I've felt too shitty to make anything."
"Well, I can't cook," she begins, "But I can order you some food." She comes into the apartment as he lets her in. "What do you want?"
"Like, anything, really," he responds, "Just... substance. Nothing spicy, please."
"I'll order you Big Biscuit."
"Sounds fine."
He lays back down on his couch, wrapping a blanket around him. Silver fills up a cup of water and places it in front of him on his coffee table. "Do you have classes today?"
"No, today's my day off from class," he replies, "I had nothing but the stream."
"At least there's that." She sits down on his armchair and looks at him. She goes to say something as he's looking away from her, but stops as her eyes look into his. She doesn't know why, but she just halts for a few moments, staring at his eyes. Finally, she shakes it off and says what she had meant to. "Is there anything you need me to do?"
"I don't think so. I just... I'm exhausted, but I can't sleep."
"Well, I don't have a stream today, so I'll just stick around if you need anything."
"Don't you have a life?"
"Not really," she says plainly, "You know how degenerate I am."
"You're still far more extroverted than I am."
"Well, I've got nothing today," she riterates, "So, wanna watch a show or movie or something?"
"Yeah, just put on anything," he says tiredly. Silver takes the remote and begins searching through the various shows available through different subscription services. [Y/n]'s phone rings, so he answers it.
