Chapter 5 - Little bits of Michael

New day- 3:09

I woke up early in the morning. Someone was snoring, but who? My brothers are camping with my dad, so is it my mom? God everythings a mystery these days. I should join those scooby doo buddys. Someday i will. I got out of my bed to investigate. This time, the sound was a thump. I guess my mom fell out of bed then? I finally opened my moms door, but.. She was ON her bed, and didnt snore..so who was it? On second thought, was it even snoring? Or mumbling? I quickly, but quietly, closed my mommys door, and ran out to my living room. There, i found a brick, that smashed my window. So, the 'snoring' mustve been the bush outside of my window. And, the thumb, mustve been the window. On the brick, had a note attached to it. I picked it up and grabbed the note.
It read :
"Dear, mike,
Meet me at the park tmr after school."
Well, who was this? And why throw a brick at my window?! Dont they know how much that costs to fix? God, people dont think. And my mom is gonna think i done it. I just picked up the note and pulled the curtains over. Im too tired for this.

School moring- 7:00

In the morning, i woke up to my mom screaming. Of corse, the window. She mustve pulled the curtin across to see what was so cold. Of course, she hauled me out of bed.
"MIKEY. What happened to my window?!"
She screamed.
"I dont know."
"Jeez mike...it takes alot of money to fix that. yknow what, ur staying home from school, and cleaning up the glass, and doing the rest of the chores."
Sweet! Well, except for chores.
"Ugh..finee." why would she even let me stay home? The most stupidest move, but it suits me well. I am gonna get a punishment, though. my mom thought I broke the window, and shes probably on the phone with my dad or a repair man, the repair man she secretly was having an affair over. I think that's why she let me stay home, I was giving her a massive favor, in more ways than one.
